She's filled with milk then. And sounds like they are getting plenty if their tummies are round and they are pooping. I'm assuming she doesn't leave them for long. Does Mama Kit Kat still seem happy?

And that's about all they do the first couple of weeks is nurse and sleep and crawl a tiny bit. :)

No she comes to get a babysitter if she eats. She comes out here and sits on me for a few.
She is very happy. I assume they are getting food.
They are all sleeping and she is eating.
They aren't crying or rooting.

@rubysmama Mom cat is KitKat. The kids named her lol
So far we have Carl (yes, from the walking dead)
Syn
Karma
And zacky.
KitKat - what a cute name.  I don't watch The Walking Dead, so I don't know who Carl is, but all the kitten's names sound cool and unique.

Looking forward to continuing to read about KitKat and her adopted kittens progress.

Everyone is doing so well.
Except a little bit of fighting over nipples.
Mom tries to break it up, but it's been loud enough for me to step in. Is this normal?

What's happening is they are "claiming" their favorite nipples. All kittens do this, and you will see them continue to nurse in this pattern the whole way through.

So a little bit is normal, but if excessive, re-direct whomever needs it by putting them at another nipple. They go by smell for their favorite nipple! :)

The two smaller darker ones put up a good fight! They aren't pushed around.
But in two days they have already grown.
As you can see, the light ones are just huge!

Yes, they are! Just make sure the smaller ones have a nipple and consistently latch and suckle through the day. They should double their weights in the first week.

Probably keeping them.
I doubt I'll give them up.

Ok so I only weighed one so far
The white and beige one is 105 grams.
Or almost 3.8 Oz at two days old.
I'm working on the rest.
She is very protective.

Ok. A healthy newborn weight is 3.5 ounces. They should gain from 6-10 grams a day ideally. More is better. We have a starting point now. Just weigh them in front of her if you can so she doesn't get too upset.

I appreciate you getting their weights. The weights are good for two days old. Try to weigh them tomorrow around the same time so we can see how much they are gaining. All of those weights are healthy though! :)

I will for sure. Thank you so much.
I am just a nervous wreck. I am trying not to bug them too much. But I can't help but double check that they are doing ok and nursing right. :)

She is very good.
She only takes quick trips away.
Very happy.
I finally saw her help them potty today. She just knows what to do. :)
