What program are you using?  I'm just using good ol' paint... If I want to copy something, I "select" the portion, then hit ctrl+C, then ctrl+V.  The copy appears in the upper left corner with a selection box around it, and you can drag it to wherever you want it.  As long as you have it selected, you can also reverse it under the "resize" options.

I have a very bad knee with a frayed meniscus.  I stressed it too much while helping a friend pack for moving.

That knee does sound painful. Hoping that rest and physiotherapy can sort it out.
