The babies weights are better today.

#1 Tulip = 321g (+17)
#2 Lilly = 288g (+17)
#3 Bandit = 314g (+14)
#4 Timmy = 303g (+13)

They all seem to be sneezing now though. Hopefully the antibiotics will work.
Tomorrow I need to start worming them too.

Are they using the litter box on their own? Is it OK to deworm if mom is still stimulating them to pee and poop?

I honestly don't know but I presume it must be OK? I foster for my local SPCA and they just tell me when I need to give them wormers etc.

The kittens and mammy are all on Parazole wormer which seems to be pretty safe.

I've to give it for 4 days and repeat it every 2 weeks.

Kittens are not normally de-wormed until their first vet visit when they are 8 weeks old unless they are having problems.

I guess the recommendations must be different where I am (Ireland). The SPCA I foster for are based on-site with a vet hospital so work very closely with the vets and would get the recommendations from them.

Bandit and Tulip were having a little look around the crate while Timmy and Lilly slept. They are trying hard to tune into sounds...as I made squeaky sounds, their little ears were pricking up, one at a time! They are holding their heads up better too.

One ear up, listening.

I've been a bit lax with the updates. The babies turned 3 weeks old yesterday. They are all over 400g now. I'm still weighing them daily but it's getting trickier as they are climbing out of the container I was using. I need a bigger bowl!

All are waddling around now, and attempting to sit up. Timmy is purring.

Tulip is definitely the chilled out one. She doesn't miaow when I hold her and seems to enjoy it. The rest think they are being abducted by an alien! [emoji]128514[/emoji]

A few photos....

Group shot...the boys were too busy feeding to pose for me!

Aww! So cute and sweet! I love the 3-4 weeks old little stage. Just before they get braver! [emoji]128571[/emoji]

It's amazing...all these milestones we are meeting every day.

Yesterday I saw the kittens playing together. It's like slow-motion play as they are still quite wobbly! Tulip was also taking swipes at Elsa...so funny.

Today I spotted Tulip grooming herself...licking in between her toes! 2 of the babies licked my hand.

Getting braver!

This face!!

When is a good time to start introducing more people to get them socialised? Maybe next week? They are 23 days old now. 3 of them still cry when I pick them up to weigh them. They are happier with me stroking them in the crate and are starting to take swipes at my hand! It's so cute.

I LOVE THE 3 WEEK PHASE! They look so worried/yet adorable all of the time! They will start loving on you more/socializing around 5 weeks I find, they start "recognizing" you then! As far as worming (I know that was a while back) If worming with pyrantyl, my vet recommends doing so at 3 weeks, 5 weeks, and 7 weeks! I never thought about mom stimulating them because they recommend mom get wormed these days too. If worming with something else ie panacur, I think waiting until they are older is better :)
