Day Old Kitten... A Couple Questions.

Follow the vets advice about keeping him from mama except for feeding time, and maybe even keep him in a box or crate. --I don't know if putting down a towel or blanket (something that doesn't bunch up underneath him?) in the box/crate would help him as opposed to him trying to get around on a slipperier surface...

Yes! No slippery surfaces!

Also if you can borrow an. IR heating lamp, give him healing sessions with it. You will prob need to hold him perhaps in a burrito.
Many rheumstic people have such lamps. Also people having lizard terraries.

It seems better. This morning he ate from mama and when I came back and opened the door and started talking he popped his little head up and power walked over to me without tipping over and I sat down and he climbed right up on my leg to get lovin's. I have very gently massaged the back leg and he seems to like it, he stretches it out and let's me. Here is a picture, just because he's a handsome boy
