ok i am bored i will play. i found this site cause we put in some web filters, that block anything to with games, so i cant read game forums and stuff at work anymore
In fact the the software says the BBC and CNN etc, sometimes will come back as porn sites

i was born and raised in ohio, went to school at kent state where i managed to get a degree in flying and business admin. I also have a 2 year degree in IT. from a jr college. Even with having learning disablility when it comes to writting(lol so yea, i cant spell or write that well nothing i can do about it) i got pass school with out to much problem.

i used to get into a lot of trouble growing up, lots of fights, not cause i was a hot head, just cause i used to like to fight i was young and dumb i guess.

afer kent , went into the army for 3 years. I was supposed to go to flying school but the army stuck me in IT work, and always seemed to find some reason to keep me doing it. Normaly it was, we need you here to much to let you leave right now, next time; however since the army did not live up to there side of the deal, i did not seem fit to hold up my end , so they kicked me out with a "you dont play well with others"

came back to ohio, worked lots of different jobs the best being i used to run sound and lights for live shows, plays, music that was fun got to travel alot north america and europe. . During that time i started dating a women from canada, when she got transfered to vancover i followed. after sever months there she took a job in hong kong, once again i followed the time in hong kong ws both fun and a nightmare at the sametime. the 2 cats and dog we had crossed over the bridge, 3 years later so did she

i kinda stayed in HK cause i did not know what to do or where to go, when the bank i was working for asked me to go to bangkok, lol was only supposed to be there for a couple of days i stayed for 4 years. during that time i had been talking to a women in indoenisa,we become friend, end up getting married at least in thailand indo and us do not see us as being married yet, and since she owns her own ISP and web dev company i moved to indo spent my life saving on opening a coffee shop & interent cafe.

couple of years ago when my mother got sick i came back to the US, to be with her.
and thanks to the indo Govt mess up i am now not allowed back in Indo(5 months and counting until my court case is to be up in front of the judge again)

hobbies-hmm , video games , motorcycles, flying, reading, guns, hunting(which i dont really do anymore) and travel,. so far been in 26 different countries and worked in 3

so thats my life story, soon to be 40, hmm yea yea i know my profile has all the wrong info on it.

i wonder if people really read these things

Hello to all from Maryland! I'm new to this board, but not to message boards in general. I'm active in many Clay Aiken message boards, so I get most of this so far!

But anyway! My name is Kati (You may be tempted to spell it "Katie" but that's not it! It's Kati!) and I'm 13 years old. I have one sister, Jenn, who is 18, and two very loving parents. (I'll be nice and not mention their ages! Hehe!
) I have two dogs, Julie and Blake, and of course, the cutest cat ever, Abby!

I first "met" my cat, Abby, on October 25th of this year. I would of gotten her that day, but I was going on a school trip on Thursday and Friday. But on Friday the 27th, when I was back, I picked that little cutie up in the blink of an eye! She sleeps by my side every night & I could never asked for a cuter cat. I love her to tears!! I'd do anything to protect her!

A little more about me - On my spare time, when I'm not at school or doing homework, I'm either singing, working on my graphic & web design, writing, or cooking. I love to sing. I've been singing since I could talk. It all started when one day I popped in Cher Live tape into the TV because it had a shiny cover (Hey, I was 6, alright?! Hah!) I thought she could sing well, and so I started to sing like her, and I can still mimic her voice well! I am a graphic and web designer. I have run three sucessful websites, and many other various ones. Right now, I only have a personal blog up and running. I love to write, as well! I write short stories, books, short plays, songs, and recipes! Why recipes? Well, I also love to cook! I cook dinner almost every day at my house.

If I'm not doing any of those things, I'm doing something related to Clay Aiken. Let's just say I am a HUGE HUGE FAN!!!!!! Some say I am obsessed, I call myself IN LOVE! Hah! If you haven't, go pick up his new CD! It's fantastic! It's called A Thousand Different Ways.

Lord, I'm sorry!! This has become so long! I hope my life isn't too boring for ya'll! I hope to meet and become friends with you all!

Talk to you soon!

God Bless,
-Kati

Hi my name is Rhonda I'm a 28 year old single woman born and raised in Canada, I spent several years Living and working in Ireland (Belfast) and moved back to Canada several years ago.
I live in Ottawa, Ontario Canada and have a degree in Archive and Records Management with a minor in collections conservation management. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with my 2 kitties Duke and Sibohan. I often travel around Ontario and you will most likely find me in my home town of Perth on some weekends when I am not working. I currently work and have worked at this just for over 2 years with The Canadian Cancer Society which is a job I absolutely love. I have recently (as of Friday) had some serious problems at work with a co-worker (Thanks Ginger's mom for the advice) and I hope to work there for years to come.
I have 1 brother who is a long haul truck driver and I have had the opportunity to see most of north American from the shotgun seat in his truck. I have both of my parents and my mother's parents they all live in my home town where I jokingly say I am related to half the county.
I spend my time off playing with my kitties, doing cross stitch, reading, practicing my calligraphy, collecting Asian items by going to rummage sales, I am also a girl guide leader to 7 little girls, I am also a skeet target shooter and am currently the womans record holder at my local club in all gages of shotgun. I also spend some time studying Bonsai and have 3 bonsai trees I am working on.
I recently bought a new car and love my new Independence it brings me. I just try to spend my time doing constructive things and enjoying life. What else can you do. You might feel by this time that I ramble so I will wrap it up. And just say I look forward to meeting everyone on the cat site sometime soon.

Chao~*

I love to cross-stitch too when I have time. How do you keep Duke and Sibohan out of your thread while you're working? lol

My name is Mary. I am 42, happily married for 11 years in Dec, I skipped the mom part and went straight to grandma. My DH has 3 daughters from his first marriage. We have 5 grandkids, all girls. I live on my FIL farm in the Four Corners area of New Mexico, my family has been here since 1860. I drove an 18-wheel semi with my DH for about 10 years until HepC put me at home about 3 yrs ago. Now I stay here and take care of critters. I have 2 Australian shepherds (Dottie and Maggie) and 5 permanent resident cats (Dianna, Annie, Shadow, Holly, and Sissy); I foster other kittens that are from our or the neighbors barns. I have probably bottle raised a dozen kittens in the last 3 years.
I enjoy playing on the computer, and reading alot (mostly sci-fi and fantasy) and because of the HepC I sleep alot.
My DH is still driving long-haul so I am home alone most of the time. Just me and the critters.

It's a struggle. Somtimes the best thing is not to pick ut up until they are both asleep *smile* or by keeping the threads short, less of a temptation

i don't think I have done this...... but i am over 50 so i could have and forgotten.

I am diana, married, jewish, allergic to cats, former NYer who has lived in many places: NYC, alaska, boston, denver, new jersey, alabama and now portland. I like portland the best. My career was/is a mental health professional and I had a private practice but am semi retired ( not taking new clients) and trying to morph into a fiber artist. I have sewn and done needle arts since childhood and now i have a stand alone studio where I work with fiber, painting dying embellishing and making one of a kind garments.

I love old movies and reading and opera , theatre and ballet. I also adore cooking. In this new house ( some people downsize as retirement nears) we did a major upsize so I could have a studio and my husband could have an indoor workshop plus a large kitchen for entertaining and lots of outdoor spaces for fun ( two decks and two private patios)

My husband and I love the water- sailing swimming snorkeing canoeing and taveling. esp places that have a combo of history and great natural day time things to do. Abigail is my only cat. as a young adult I developed an intense allergy to cats and have been taking years of allergy shots to enable me to have the one. if I wasn't allergic I would surround myself with cats as I adore and admire them.

oh there are lots of othr things to say ...I even have a blog reached through my website. I love the cat site- it is an endless source of information and smiles for me.

How did I miss this thread???

i'm Allie and I'm 21 years old and I grew up in the Chicago suburbs. My dad is a dentist: one of Chicago's best. my mom is a CPA who recently discovered her love of working in the no-pro sector. I have a brother and a sister, both younger.

Now I live on the north-side of the city in a broom-closet of my apartment with 3 rescued cats. Leo came first...an overstimulation/redirected aggression cat with severe environmental allergies and FHV. Then, came Lola...an orphaned kitten who sadly died of feLV at 8 months, after being hand-raised at my shelter. then there was Gracie...who is timid and hides a lot and was a Katrina rescue, but is sweet as pie when she feels like being outgoing. Then Raphael...an overstimulation/redirected aggression cat with IBD and chronic dental disease. Woo! Enough about them!

I'm a senior in college, finishing up my degree in flute performance. I'm still in school and an undergrad, so my performance opportunities in a city with so many graduate students and professionals are slim. I'm hoping to find almost full-time work as an applied (or private) flute teacher, and I'm working on my Suzuki certification. I'd also like to dabble in arts administration and set up some small ensembles and concert series' to keep performing. I have no interest whatsoever in being in the orchestral circuit. Too much drama and music pc to be appealing.

Being a music major is a full-time job (I practice 3-5 hours a day and have 1-3 hours of rehearsal a day, on top of regular classes)...but I manage to find time to watch some kids and their puppy to put kibble on the table for my babies. As if that weren't enough, I'm an adoption counselor at a progressive cageless, no-kill shelter/rescue that takes in exclusively sick and injured stray/feral cats, and rehabilitates them and socializes them. Sometimes the road to adoption is long...we have cats who have been adopted after 10-12 years of being at the shelter! That's my favorite part os my job. The least favorite are taking admission calls. It reduces my faith in mankind.

When I'm not running around like a chicken with my head cut off, I'm an avid reader (basically any subject) and I like to ride my bicycle, scrapbook and i'm trying to find someone to teach me how to knit. I also love my TiVo and my iPod. I would consider myself a very ardent feminist, although I avoid the "mommy wars" debate because I think it's pointless and moot. I don't go to church. My favorite color is pink and my favorite beer is Bell's Oberon. I own a pair of Crocs and I absolutely love them. I recycle. I hate doing dishes more than I hate any other household chore (this includes scooping the litterboxes). I've never been off of North America, though I would more than love to travel overseas. I used to think i was afriad of doctors, but I just had minor surgery and it wasn't so scary.

I leave my windows cracked, even in January.

I'm getting married next year, to my partner of 3 years. He is the one responsible for my love of animals. we're having a formal wedding at a 5-star hotel downtown. we've know for the past 3 years that we were meant for each other, so we started saving early

I never had a cat until I was 18.

I'm kind of scrooge-like with money. I tend to not spend it. Strange for a college kid.

I have a strange fondness for magnetic poetry. My fridge right now says "A Fat brown tabby ate the sofa" and 'Vince Vaughn Goes Doritos" and "Beck Delivers Popular Self to mars" and "Crazy Calico Licks Everything" (I have cat edition and The Onion edition)

I really dislike Oprah.

I truly believe that nothing can solve your problems if a cat in your lap and a cup of tea followed by a nap can't solve them.

My name is Erica. I am 22 years old. I was born an only child to my mother and my dad went on to have 3 other children with another women after my mom divorced him. I grew up an only child and have hardly had a relationship with my father. After 20 years we are finally building some bridges and burning old ones.

I live with my boyfriend and the two cats along with 3 rats and two snakes.
Khan and Lola are our snakes. They are ball pythons and we find that although we cannot cuddle with them on the couch their company is still very theraputic.
Mikey is my soul mate, and for a cat that says alot. He is a wonderful pet and has a wonderful soul!

I work in an NICU at a metro hospital in Milwaukee.
I love my job. Somedays are spiritually hard but most days are great.

I dont have very many hobbies, maybe sleeping, reading my Bible, and watching Family Guy. Im not that interesting, yet to my grandparents who I live above me, they think I'm a real character.
which brings up two very improtant people.
The GRANDPARENTS!!
They are my best buddies and my support beem, Im in my early twenties and still have a lot of life to figure out. those two help me out all the time and really are wise folks! I love them dearly and my grandpa is like my best friend. I think I am his as well.

I never finished college and probably never will. Thats my biggest regert. not doing better in school and not finishing. I can admitt that i am a loser. I'll work 40 hour weeks and just get by my whole life. Dan and I will get married and he will be the bread winner. I wont live in his shadow but I know being a mom is where my heart is and what I will soar in! as soon as we do the whole wedding..house..kid deal.

Not much else to me.
Oh except I have many many complexes and should probably go see a shrink for it...esp my color complex and name complex..that stuff can really work me up lol!

Hi, I was born and raised in Central New Jersey. I just recently retired at the age of 62. I have been divorced for many years, no kids. Lost my baby back in 1974, she lived just two days, the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck, she is buried in San Diego where I lived thru most of the 70's with my then husband. Do not have any other children. After my divorce I came back to live in NJ cuz my family was here, have regretted it many times since, also think I made the right decision many times, I never remarried.

I was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma in the summer of 2005, went thru the whole nightmarish bit with chemo and then radiation, spent most days in bed. By the beginning of 2006 I was cancer-free and still am, still need to go for those Pet CT Scans tho. This is the main reason I had to retire since my body isn't as strong as it used to be. I was losing a lot of days at work so I finally gave up to my Pension and now Social Security.

I do have family here and they have been a great help to me whenever I needed it, thank God for them.

I have one 14 year old black and white female cat who I adopted from a shelter at the age of 6 weeks. Don't know what I would do without her, when I was ill, she never left my side, she was a great comfort to me without having to say a word. She is an only cat bucause she wants it that way :-)

I live a quiet life in a mobile home, it is in a park-like setting with many trees and very pretty. My family all live close by which is great. They all have dogs except me....I love doggies tho and I get my doggie fix when I visit them.

My hobbies are reading, TV, surfing the web, and my favorite pastime is Baseball, I just love it. Tho I come from NJ, I am not a NY Yankee or Met fan, I am a St. Louis Cardinal fan and have been for over 40 years. Went to St. Louis twice in the 80's to see them play at home, wow what a great experience that was. It was photo day at one of the games and I have a full album of all my favorite players from that time, we were able to go right onto the field. As you can see I am still thrilled over that. I do get a lot of grief from NY fans around here esp. my family who are all Yankee fans. Of course I was thrilled last year when the Cardinals won the World Series, I still
smile over it and can't wait for the 2007 season to begin.

I hope I didn't bore you with my bio, thanks for the opportunity to talk to you. I'm enjoying reading other bio's very much.

Go Cardinals....:-)

an ice cube in Iowa...
Hey, I'm Holly, and I'm 28. My birthday is on July 2, and I'm such a Cancer, you would not even believe it...caretaker and home-body that I am! I grew up in Mason City, Iowa, graduated in 1996 from Mason City High School, and then moved to Cedar Falls, where I attended the University of Northern Iowa. I worked as a telemarketer, as I studied to be an English major, then changed my mind, and double-majored in Elementary Education & Special Education: Moderate/Severe/Profound Mental Disabilities, with a minor in Learning Disabilities, grades K-6. I then worked as a respite worker for children with disabilities, and also in a group home for adults with disabilities. I graduated, and landed my first special education position in Tipton, IA. I taught there for 3 years, fell in love with my best friend (who I met as a telemarketer), who lived in Waterloo. We decided to get married out in the woods on his birthday, and I had to finish out the year in Tipton...I then got hired in Cedar Falls in a special education school (which is right next to the woods where we married), moved in with my husband and my 13 year-old stepson, and now teach profoundly autistic/mentally disabled children. Hubby had the 3 dogs (one who died in December), and I had two cats. We adopted Steuben last April, and will be bringing home our new basset hound baby girl (Petunia) in early June.

I love reading, animals, teaching, music, crocheting, cooking, and making candles.

Yay! There's my life in a nutshell, albeit a rather long one!!!!

My name is Emma. I'm 23. I've been with my bf Tristan for 19 months. Im currently looking for work but have done lots of volunteer work for the Salvos and animal welfare. My loves are singing, art, aromatherapy, collecting gemstones/books. I was born in Oz and still live here. I'm an only child and my parents are still together (surprisingly). We have two kitties in my house, Charlie and Jasmine, and i share our blind kitty Cleo at Tristans home. We used to have a dwarf rabbit called Frodozaphod when i was little, but ive grown up with cats my whole life. I was born with congenital hip dysplasia (the tests as a baby didnt find the problem as sometimes it is hard with babies bones being flexible) i had a femoral osteotomy at the age of five to relaign the bone to the hip and they cleaned all the overgrown tissue from my hip socket to put the ball joint back in. Thankfully i dont have any artificial joints. Im hoping i will find a job by the end of the year so Tristan and i can move out together and apparently, i have all creative control of decorating the house lol.

That's me

Since my favorite subject seems to have been myself lately, here's my bio
.

I am 28 years old with 2 cats currently, Petunia and Pepper. I have had cats my entire life. My first cat lived until she was 16 years old and only died because she was attacked by a dog.

I currently live in WV and, hopefully, will no longer be in WV next year. I will graduate in May with my Associate Degree in Nursing and am going to continue on to get my BSN next year, followed by my schooling to become a Certified Nurse Midwife.

I recently (January)broke up with the man that I had been with for almost 3 years and was supposed to marry. We are stuck living with each other until the middle of May. Very awkward situation! I am a little bit bitter still, but getting better every day (at least that's what I tell myself!!).

This is a great thread to get to know everyone!
