I'm excited to announce our very own Feline Nutrition Month starting today!
Nutrition is the cornerstone of good health and it is up to us to decide on the best possible way to feed our cats, according to their needs and our abilities. Knowledge is key in deciding on the best kinds of food for your cat, and we're here to provide you with the latest information about creating a balanced and healthy diet for Kitty.
We'll be covering topics such as choosing the right cat food; how much to feed; how to read cat food labels; what makes good cat food, canned or dry, and many more, in new guides to added to our articles section. We'll also have feeding-themed contests and we'll try to generally pay more attention to this aspect of caring for our furbabies this month.
Without further ado, I'm happy to present you with a thoroughly revised version for this article -
Written by Laurie Goldstein, our very own @LDG this is actually a new article, completely replacing the one we had before (with the same title). More detailed, and longer, this guide now has two parts (scroll through the first to reach the link to Part 2).
I'd like to thank Laurie for her invaluable contribution to the site in general, and to writing and re-writing nutrition articles for this month. She's done an absolutely amazing job and I can't begin to imagine just how many cats will benefit from this project (in addition to the numerous cats she's helped through TCS over the years!)
Thank you, Laurie!
