She's precious! I couldn't see the videos but I'm sure they were adorable too. She reminds me of Alaynna's cat Monkey. So precious!

Ummm... well yea... we went back after we brought her home and got her situated.

I was just praying I wouldnt find any more surprises in the Wal-mart parking lot.
But I couldnt help but look under every car I drove past.

Her tail shakes. Almost like a rattlesnakes does....

Any ideas what this might be??
Scratch does that too when she's really excited. I call it her "tail quiver".

I couldn't and wouldn't ever have left her there to get hit!! it just wasnt an option once I saw her. I had to save her.
I know you know this, but I just want to say, you did the right thing, a good and wonderful thing.

i'm glad you did what you did too... and i'm the same as you - if i see a stray cat/kitten in need of assistance, i can't just turn away and ignore it. too many people do thaht already. if everyone who saw an animal in need actually took some of their oh so precious time and sacrificed it to help the animal, we wouldn't have all the homeless and abused animals we have today. i think people see a stray and think "well..there's tons of strays. its not my job to pick up a stray kitten. besides, its only one, what good will it do?". well..it'll save a life-a life that matters. and if everyone said "it IS my responsibility to help this animal..." imagine the difference it could make.

What a nice thing to do in rescuing this kitten. It looks like the girls will enjoy their new pet.

How adorable.
I loved the videos. You can hear the happy purr in the second one. To me there is nothing better than a happy kitty purr.

I would keep her too. Tell hubby the story and tell him it was meant to be. Who knows maybe God has more in store for you and this kitty. Alot of the pets on Animal Miracles that save their families were rescued off the streets. And noone can tell me that God didn't intend for you to find that kitty considering the amount of things that caused you to be in that spot at that moment. I am glad she hadn't crawled into the motor of one of the vehicles or the van owner hadn't gotten there to leave first.

I agree whole heartedly. As the sig says, "I didn't say it was my fault. I said it was my responsibility. I know the difference."

The secret motto of cat rescuers everywhere, I think.

I think it's safe to say that's one of your best Wal-Mart "purchases" ever!
What a pretty girl and a lucky find.

How gorgeous is she!!
And she's just the right colour to blend in with the others!

I can't wait to hear the outcome with hubby. Tell him all the ladies of TCS will love him forever if he says she can stay

Yes, she does blend in just right.

And well David saw her last night and really liked her. He didnt say that but I could tell. He trys to be all macho.

I still havent introduced her to the others but they do know she is here. And I must say... my hubby is the least of my problems.....

Garfield just refuses to accept any other cat into this house.

But with time we will see how it goes. I love her to pieces already and she is just the most loveable little thing I have ever known!!
