BTW...I completely understand the concept of "no time"....other than working, I am usually volunteering with either the cat/dog rescue group or with the Feral cat spay clinic...which is probably why I am still single.
Interesting concept. Someone should start and online dating site for cat lovers. Or at least a generic aninal lover dating site.

I have an AAS in forestry, a BA in Political science and Roman Archaeology, a MLS (masters in library science) and will have my JD in a couple of weeks (Yippee) Needless to say I will have well over 300 college credits so Time has been an issue in the past. The third and most important I have never really looked for a significant other. I have gone out on a few dates but nothing really felt right. Its hard to meet people when your ideal way to spend your weekend it watching the Mets play on TV and hanging out with your cats.
Wow!
Ok - now you've really got me hooked. I love guys that are about the same height as me give or take a few inches (I'm 5'7"), I don't like looking up at someone who is suppose to be my equal. Call it a wierd quirk of mine, but I also like them real skinny (not jacked - if you can't put your arms down at your side, we've got a problem
).
I also can relate to the no time thing cause of school - I am 2 classes shy of my masters in Engineering and currently have a BSEE.
The only problem we might have here is although I do really like to stay at home, I also like to get out for dinner and drinks a couple times a week. Change of scenery let's say. I just can't sit at home night after night - someone would have to commit me if I did that.
Sooo....Stevie? Jenny? I might lose out on this one.

Now....as for this TCS-Harmony Dating Service.......all we need is a name for the service and a thread dedicated to it.

We do need to start the thread for it. Give me some suggestions and I will see what I can do.. I like to go for drinks and dinner. Skinny doesn't need to be fluffy is still ok. I am a romantic person and I love to just sit and be around a fire if need to. I love the out doors
I love quads fishing some sports. I have 3 kids and a cat due in a few weeks and a Pomeranian. I am 5,2 so as long as the guy is my height or taller I am cool. If he is shorter and it was meant to be then it was...

Well you certainly sound like a wonderful catch to me. . . . only a bit young for me to consider (I'm 43). I am the perfect height though . . . . 5' 4"!! 300 college credits? That's impressive. I'm just surprised that you didn't meet someone while you were in class. I work with a 27 year old single woman who has the world in her hands. She's working on her second Masters Degree. She's been dating heavily and just hasn't found Mr. Right. I think she's too picky. Unfortunately, she's allergic to cats.
You are wise to get your career going before settling down.

Suggestions ladies?
We need a new thread and need a catchy name for it that will grab guys attention - Like "Calling all Single Men!"
is that simple enough. Whoever starts the thread needs to post what criteria we want listed. So before we start it we need to establish what we'd like to know.
My suggestions:
1) Name (First only):
2) Age:
3) Location:
(State will do - we don't want them thinking we are stalking them
)
4) Height/Weight: (This isn't a major criteria for most all of us, but we do have different preferences)
5) Ever Married/children?:
6) How many furbabies do you have and tell us a bit about them:
7) other animals?:
8) Do you work? Go to school?
9) What do you like to do in your spare time?
10) What kind of lifestyle do you lead? Homebody? Big partier? social bug? a bit in the middle?
11) What are you looking for in a partner?:

How's that for a start? We don't want to over whelm them so although we are women (meaning we could come up with 100 questions very easy) I think we should keep it to a minimum so we don't scare them away

sign me up for this dating service...i can't seem to find a single guy around here that doesn't get the deer in the headlights look when they find out about my kitties. Or else if they are still hoping to get lucky they'll pretend to like them...

Hmmmm, someone propose to me? They would have to be willing to share their time with some BIG cats, this includes Carmelo, who at 70 pounds at the moment, thinks he is still a lap cat.
At 180 pounds, this could be quite the challenge

don't forget if they have a police record
I do have a police record...I WORK there

Those criteria/questions seem just swell! How about we also ask if they're willing to relocate!
