100% Better!!!!!

Just got in from picking Mittens up from the vet. He had to stay overnight so that they could get a good sample. No more blood & crystals!
He still has a temper because when I let him out of the box he went and peed on the bath rug...he'll be fine by tomorrow. I am so happy--this has been one long road! Thank you all for your support--we are out of the woods!! Let's celebrate!!!!!

Thank you sooo much everyone! He wetted outside his box a few times to let me know he didn't like going to the vet for the (I've counted, trust me!) 12th time in 2 1/2 months. So...after being gone for a few hours yesterday, he's using his box again. I can't thank you all enough for the support you gave me to also pass down the strength to my sweet boy. We are both very grateful for your thoughts and prayers.

I know this is a thread that most people didn't want to see brought up....

Mittens is in back at the vet. The scaring from the surgery has made it difficult for him urinate. A specialist is being contacted tomorrow for furthur sugeries. I thought this was over....my heart is breaking

Talked to the vet a few minutes ago. Since Mittens is overweight...this is a very difficult process...and Dr. Fulton (the one that did the surgery in December) said that she felt uncomfortable doing any other surgeries on him. So, we are being referred to Texas A&M vet clinic in College Station, Texas. This is not too far and I am willing to make the drive for my sweetheart
From where I am living now, it's about an hour and 15 minute drive. He has to go to this specialist to get the help he needs to remove the scar tissue. Hopefully, they are reasonable...and this will be the end of the trauma for my sweetie...please continue with the prayers and I will keep you all updated!!

Candie...please let us know when you are scheduled to see the specialist at Texas A&M, so we can send good vibes and prayers that day.
I really feel for you both.
