I have dinner on the run tonight. I go from meeting with my mortgage lender, to a coffee date with some girlfriends, to Petsmart for my 2 hour volunteer shift. I'll have to find something of substance to hold me over until I come home at 9pm.

I am going to Starbucks for coffee, and I hear they have new breakfast sandwichs (served all day) so maybe I'll try one of those.

Tonight I'm going to my friends house for her Mums birthday. I suspect the food will be delicious!

Beth - do you mean Filet Mignon? I love Filet Mignon! Especially with mushrooms - Did you know that Mignon is the French word for darling.

Hmmm... I need spell check on the board LOL. So a filet of darling. Maybe I'll just say steak from now on.

Yea we all cracked up when I was learning French - and we learnt that Mignon means darling, we went around calling everyone Mignon and they thought we were calling them steak! lol

I'm having homemade veat-loaf, mashed potatoes and green beans. I might have a salad too. Angel will be eating a slice of Healthy Choice turkey lunch meat. He loves that stuff.

Tonight will be leftover french fries from last night.

Or maybe I'll get adventurous and bring out ol' George Forman for some grilled chicken ceasar salad! OR and this is even better, maybe I'll see what the parents, who live a mile away, are having....their menu is always so much better than mine.

We had spaghetti with a sauce made of fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, and hot and sweet peppers. I made some coleslaw for tomorrow, to be served with breaded flounder or calamares (I haven't decided yet).

For tonight I thawed a rib roast I had in the freezer, will be trying it on the rotisserie, first time for cooking a rib roast that way. I'll add a salad of baby romaine, scallions, and a spinach cheese casserole. Dessert for me will be a few cashews with 2 thin squares of ghiardelli chocolate
DH will probably have some raspberry sorbet

Tonight, I had another gawd awful Lean Cuisine
, but then finished it off with a dark chocolate orange flavoured chocolate bar (which completely cancelled out the reason for the Lean Cuisine in the first place!).

Geez, I'm such a creature of habit... Now that I'm on a leave from work and actually have the time to cook, I should be MAKING my own meals instead of nuking some processed packaged crap. Then maybe I won't be so damn hungry!
