What's the weather and temperature like where you live?? - 2017

From our frigid temps the other day, we are at 58 degrees right now, misting rain, and HIGH winds.  Nearly blew my hair off my head coming in from lunch.  I dread driving home in it.  The large pine trees in the front lawn at work look like they are being turned inside out, the wind is that high.

this morning -5. so cold my nose froze as soon as I stepped outside.

I couldn't imagine living in this environment without at least a fire to keep warm.

rain tomorrow night. highs at 50!

Its 48°F here. Its been raining all day and the wind is absolutely howling. I dread driving in this weather.

It must be windy all over. There's someone on another forum from Colorado and she says the wind is strong there today. And it's really windy here too. I wonder where it's blowing in from?

The wind is brutal here.  We went grocery shopping this evening since I needed cat litter.  The store was dead so we were able to finish our shopping quickly. We also went out to dinner and the restaurant was really quiet too.  I have been home for almost 2 hours now.  I think I am going to go to bed and curl up with electric blanket.  I am sure the cats will join me on the bed before I fall asleep.

Yesterday when I woke up it was 1 F with lots of snow on the ground. This morning it was 46 F with a lot of the snow melted. Welcome to New England. :lol3: The crazy wind from overnight it dying down.

Freezing rain overnight around here. It was nasty, just trying to get out of the house this morning, let alone come into work. I started Hannah up from the kitchen (thank god for remote starters) and let her run for a good 15 minutes before I even tried to clean her off. Slid down the driveway, but thankfully, nothing was coming either way, so I was OK there, too. Once I got out onto the main road, I was fine. The work parking lot is a mess, though, and even walking to the front door of the building was a real treat. 

We're at 28 degrees right now with a high forecast of about 44. If I feel up to it, I may try to walk at lunch.

I'm glad to see it isn't just here in W. Tennessee that the weather and temps are fluctuating so crazy.  Today it was 62 degrees at 7am.  Misty rain, just enough to mess up your windshield.  All I can hope is that I don't run out of washer fluid in my car on the way home, I kept having to use it this morning because of the salty road grime flying up at me.

All this after being in the teens 2 days ago, and down to 9 degrees Monday morning.  A 53 degree early morning temp difference in a few days.  Insane.

It's 43 and sunny right now and supposed to be 60 tomorrow.  It was single digits just this past weekend.

Denice, are you in the path of the upcoming forecasted ice storm?  We are worried down here that it may shift paths and hit us as well.  We always worry here when it goes from single digits to hot weather, it usually means an ice storm is coming.

It was hard to keep motorbike on icy road because of wind gusts that pushed really hard all of sudden.

Great day. Currently 53 degrees or so. No wind at all. Most of the snow has melted & so far this winter I have dealt with zero ice. I can do this!

Well, we reached a crazy 72 degrees.  And the low Monday morning early wee hours of the day was 9.  From 9 to 72 within 3 days.  What's next??

Hmph. The jet stream must be south of here. I wish we had those kinds of temperature swings! Right now it's under 10 degrees and tomorrow night is supposed to get to -10. But next week it's supposed to get to 35-40ish. So that's not too bad.

It's 55, cloudy, very damp, serious need for blankets, and the next rain storm should be moving in over SoCal by morning. Been raining a lot this week, it's cold (to me) 'winter' weather, but I love the rain and clouds! (Being from PA, I will take SoCal winter over real winter anytime!)

Yep--it's 3 a.m., rainy and windy on the central coast of CA, so I imagine you will be getting the storm in a few hours. :nod:

Ok... when i woke up this morning it was 52 !! I live  in a suburb outside of Buffalo NY... that is INSANE! Its usually 10 or less.. with snow... give it a minute.. it will change.. hahah 

66 degrees here and misty rainy, gloomy.  I just want to sleep.  Supposed to be like this for the next 6-7 days, then drop back off to our normal winter temps.

It's mid 50's here in The Big Apple - while I feel I shouldn't complain, I hate humid weather.  I want the crisp cool breeze back, we need winter down here to kill the pollen and bacteria plaguing our subway systems.
