Thanks guys! I love them so much! It certainly will be hard saying goodbye to everyone here in a few weeks! I already have some great homes lined up for a few of them, which is awesome because as soon as these kittens find homes I will be taking in some kittens from a feral colony of cats.

I come on this thread and just drool.  It's just as well that there is a one-pet limit here (although they don't count aquariums or small caged animals...I could have RATTIES!).  I could go Crazy Cat Lady in a heartbeat.

I know! Good thing I'm far far away. But I think I'm catching the "tail-o-mania"...

So tonight, on my way to my car to go to work I found another cat. Oops. Lol. It is a very sweet all black cat, at the quick glance I got at it when I was taking it inside my house it is an unaltered male, which would lead me to believe that its a stray? But it looks very well fed and taken care of and like I said very friendly... I posted on a couple of the community facebook pages that I found it, we will see if anyone is missing him! How long should I keep him before I decide that no one is looking for him and get him neutered and find him a forever home? It also is something to note that there is a colony of cats a couple of blocks away and almost all of them are blakck cats, but none of them will let you approach them- which is why I was surprised I could walk up to him and pick him up.. So for tonight until I can further evaluate him when I get home tomorrow morning he is in my bathroom. I feel bad because my bathroom is small but I have Andy and her kittens in my bedroom, Wini and her kittens in my spare room and my two cats in the rest of my house. So I didn't have anywhere else to put him to separate him from everyone else.

Hmm. Other than the fact that he is intact, he sounds owned. Can you go door to door and inquire in your neighborhood?

I would be inclined to go ahead and get him neutered, but I would wait to rehome him until you feel certain no one is going to claim him. He may be the father of some of the cats in the colony that you mentioned.

He seems young, I am guessing him to be around 7 months old. He could be a stray that is eating off of some of the people who feed the colony. I posted a few places tonight and then this morning when I get home from work I can get a better look at him and get a picture and print a few flyers up and hang them up. I can probably take him to be scanned for a chip this morning too but I doubt it since he isn't altered yet. If he does belong to someone I will be giving them some resources to get him neutered! I don't know how long I should hold him if I can't find his owner, I think the law says 5 days... I might do a week?

That should be sufficient. I did not realize he was a kitten. He's been socialized for sure, which is good for rehoming. We'd love to see a picture of him. He's at a good age for neutering now. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

So my boyfriend did not shut the window in my bathroom like I had asked him to and he clawed out of the window screen and has escaped :/ Maybe he went back home? I will definitely be keeping an eye out for him!

Just a few pictures from today! I didn't get some of everyone, I mostly got Bo Peep and Barbie because they were super cuddly when I was sitting with everyone today!

Thank you! They are great models! I love them so much- these babies are going to be hard to say goodbye to in several weeks! Their eyes are changing colors now, they grow up so fast! My Halloween kittens are about 9 weeks old now and will be going to their homes here in a little over a week pending their fecal test comes back as negative for coccidiosis after the treatment. Most of them already have homes lined up, it is so bittersweet! I want them to go to great homes of their own but I will miss them! I already have ANOTHER mom and kittens that I will be taking in and finding homes for once the Halloween kittens are adopted! Shall I post those pictures on here as well in a couple of weeks?

Also unfortunately I have not seen anything from the black kitty, I think maybe he has gone home.... I hope his owner is going to get him neutered, I think that really is why he is so driven to get outside, he really did seem like he had an indoor home.
