Probably not appropriate for your environment, but when we had our cat compound in the Mojave with 2 12x12 barn stalls enclosed for the cats to eat, sleep and relax in, we installed an oil heater in one room. These are in use in a lot of garages, if you're not familiar with them; the one we got had a timer and a thermostat. Expensive, yes, but it kept them comfortable.

One year ago on November 29th, 2015 at 11:30 AM My beloved soul mate and mini me was humanely euthanized after first being blinded by an overdose of enrofloxacin and then succumbing to liver failure. A hole ripped in my heart that will never heal or be filled. I love you KittenKitten

On Tuesday December 1st I started the 150 mile round trip to witness Kittens private cremation. I watched her being laid out. Her little footprints being taken. I watched her being put in and was there when she came out. I took one last picture before she was cremated. I won't post it because I don't want to freak anyone out and it would be disrespectful to Kitten. I look at it often and I can remember the feel of her cold little body in my arms. The last time I kissed that little spot on her head. rubbed those jelly bean toes and tugged that little fluffy tail. Fulfilling my last promise that she will be with me always.

So the babies go to the vet tomorrow for checkups and boosters. They look more like young colts running around than meatballs these days. All legs and tails. Husband calls the wrecking balls. We both had the crud this week with complimentary bronchitis and sinus infections. . They really are good little kits.

Sorry to hear you guys have come down with the crud. We have several people here who also have come under the crud. Glad they are keeping you guys company. I am sure it's a joy to just watch them play and horse around.

Well they kept us up and moving. There you are just enjoying your cold med induced coma and you hear the crash bang followed by the sound of feet scattering everywhere.

getting ready to leave for the vet and we'll swing by the PetSmart where Tera is supposed to be.

O I remember when we first got pumps, she as a kitten knocked over more things than any cat I ever had. That was funny!

Long day. Babies got their last booster , their rabies and chipped. And they took Toad in the back and did an exam in which a microscope was mentioned but the sex is now definitive. Stopped on the way home at PetSmart and got a chance to hold Tera. My heart wanted to take her and run. Instead we donated a ton of toys and two huge bags of food along with the two unused KMRs.
