It's a good 80 outside but it got into the low 50s during the night so the building itself got cold. I've got the windows and doors open but it just won't get warm inside, it's still under 70 inside. It looks pretty outside, blazing blue sky, not a cloud in sight, no wind whatsoever and I'm shivering in here. Gonna go get a sweater.

It's 68 and gorgeous out. I'm starting to question whether it's really November or not. I wish I wasn't still getting over the flu, would love to just go for a drive out in this weather. Of course right now, I don't feel like doing a dang thing, lol.

At least we have the doors open.

Well finally for the past few days we've had a low of 37 here in western NC.  That's more like it!  We badly need rain.  We are in a severe drought situation.

I would think your eyeballs would freeze.
That is why I have those blue goggles, but I might get dual lens black ones next that would be bit better for when weather gets colder and I have to add a scarf.

15 degrees now at 10:40am, 4 inches new snow at night.

Oh wind is 14mph, makes any exposed skin to feel painful already, even cat's have decided to stay indoors much more because of the wind and thicker snow layer.

I did try to capture how it snows, but not very easy:

It is a bit dark so even there is lot of snow at air that is moving fast, it is quite hard to capture with the camera:

Temp below 20 degrees and lot of wind with lot of snow coming down, cats did try to be brave, but weather got better of them and all of them formed single ball near the fireplace after retreating from outdoor adventures.

I wonder how much of work there is with cleaning up all the snow tomorrow after this storm ends, forecast was less than an inch total, but it was more during first hour :lol3:

Stay warm and if you must go out in that, please be careful.

That is the weather of my worst nightmares.

Here in Florida it is a balmy 77.6 degrees and it's partly cloudy.

It's STILL warm around here! I'm definitely not complaining, but it's weird. We're supposed to get some snow next Friday, but the weather guy thinks it'll still be relatively warm because the front is coming in from Southern Canada, and it's still pretty warm there. So it'll probably be more sleet-ish than actual snow.

That's OK! I'll keep the warm weather as long as it wants to stick around. That is, unless it stays unusually warm through summer. . .the summers here don't need to get any hotter .

Yesterday morning temp was 5 degrees, it has been much warmer now, around 20 degrees, next week might be even briefly above freezing, but that is not certain yet.

Cold and windy, temperatures in the 50's all day. We went to a Veterans Day Parade and stood on the sidewalk though to be patriotic.

Honeybee on my lap, music playing in background
Woke up to pleasant warm temps. 44. The past few mornings I have had to scrap the frost off windshield. Time to get a musty old wool blanket and drape it across the windshield like my dad used to. Saves me 10 minutes to scrape and warm truck up. And gas. It's annoying. I am short. The truck is tall. Need to build a side step to get to the center of windshield. Hopefully the ticks are dead now that we had a few good hard frosts. The petunias are still hanging in. Some of the flowers fell off but the plant itself is still green. Tough ol buggers. The ones growing wild in the walkway are the hardiest petunias I have ever seen. As long as we still get 50-60 during the day they will stay green, no flowers but the foliage is still pretty to look at.

Honeybee is spending more time inside now. Which I LOVE. once the snow comes-that will be the end of the outdoor excursions. Floey is gone and she was my snow kitty. She LOVES snow. Honeybee well as long as we snowblow a path for her she will go outside with me. We have a pattern where we walk around in circles around the property. Jon snowblows a path on the side of the house so she can still adventure out.She won't stay long. I tried baby socks on her paws but that just ticked her off and bit me.
Brat. Forget clipping her nails. Instant BITE.

Jtbo I love SNOW! I can't wait till we get ours. The only thing I hate is shoveling the roof. at least where you are it's cold enough that it's powdery light. I hope we get super cold temps so we don't have to deal with heavy wet snow.

I envy you your riding. Sounds like fun. I tend to get into trouble with things like that. Go too fast. Push myself. Keep up the photos! Loving it!

Sunny Southern California. Thick cloud cover coming in at night from the ocean and temps drop to lower 50s. That stuff then burns off by 10 or so and it warms up rapidly to high 70s or even higher. At least for now the high 80s are gone which is ridiculous for November.  With weather like that one does not know if a fan would be the right thing or a space heater, sometimes both in the same 24 hours.

It is warm here, around freezing at the moment and slippery surfaces everywhere.

Currently 56.5 degrees and clear. Today's high forecasted to be 77 degrees. I'll take it. My electric bill has dropped $100 in the past 2 months. I will take that as well.
