Mom is in a huge amount of pain and the infection can spread. The vet needs to give her antibiotics. It shouldn't be expensive. Until then, the kitten needs formula from a bottle or a syringe and mom needs compresses.

This will get more expensive the longer you wait. Waiting until Tuesday is far too long.

You can use the warm compresses in the meantime. Tuesday is almost a week away. That's a long time for mom to be in pain from an infection, and it can spread. Can your parents pay and you pay them back?

Feed the kitten every 3-4 hours, even through the night, and put warm compresses on the poor mama until you can get to the vet. Feedings might go better with a syringe. Let us know how it goes.

If mom has an incredibly swollen nipple she needs to see a vet.  Why are you deciding she is fine now?  It does not sound like she is fine.  She was pushing the baby away and you said she was swollen.  Can you post a photo?

You can start offering the baby wet kitten food blended with kmr at that time, but she and mom may still not be ready for her to take it.  You can't rush that part or the decision.

It doesn't sound like mom is fine if you need to feed the baby...  

You will need to wake up every 3-4 hours and feed the baby.  Please take mom to the vet in the morning.

You need to take the mom to the vet tomorrow!!!

If she's pushing her kitten away she has mastitis. Mom cats do not push their kittens away at 4 weeks old otherwise.

Cats are excellent at hiding pain.  She is definitely in pain if you can see swelling and if she is pushing her kitten away.  

She needs to see a vet.  Carry on with the compresses and feeding the kitten until tomorrow morning.

Is the kitten getting milk from mom?

Baby does gets milk

Continue to supplement the baby.  She may not be getting enough from mom.

Let us know how they are after the vet visit.

Did you take mom to the vet? She desperately needs medical attention.

I did and on antibiotics will the kitten poo

You may need to simulate the kitten. Take a warm, damp cloth and rub her belly and genitals.

What did the vet say?

She's digging at my carpet vet said give her DA pills and she will feel better
