What are DA pills? Who is digging at your carpet?

What antibiotic is the mom cat on?

You need to put the kitten in the litter box before and after meals, and anytime you see it digging at the carpet.

What is the name of mom's pills? Clavamox? Amoxicillin?

She should feel better in another day or two and resume nursing her kitten.

You need to feed the kitten slush every 3-4 hours for now.

Yes, you can. Tummy down, head up, very slowly in side of mouth so baby does not choke. Baby must eat!

Does the vet think mom has mastitis? Yes, agree you should feed the baby. Every 3-4 hours, even though the night.

We always like to see pictures of baby and mama!

Baby should be put in the litter box before and after each feeding.

We would love a new picture of baby! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Glad all is well. Feed baby often and put her in the litter box when she wakes up. But, she might not learn to use it for another 1-2 weeks yet. She's a little young.

Let us know when mama cat is feeling better!

You cannot expect her to get the idea at once. All kittens have accidents. But if you put her in the box regularly before and after meals, she will get the right idea at last. How is Mom's nipple? are the antibiotics making a difference?

She is still under four weeks old and used to mom helping her to potty.  She needs you to help her get the idea right now while her mom is sick.  Everyone needs to be patient because this is not an ideal learning experience.  She is too young and her mom is very ill.

Is mom nursing again or licking her kitten yet?
