The baby will need slush for a few weeks.  But may not take it yet.  Mom can have either slush or wet food.  Have you tried offering baby a small/shallow dish of KMR?

Stick with the slush for another week. Then begin to slowly increase the amount of wet food in the slush so it's less slushy, until eventually the kitten is eating all wet food.

Your kitten is a domestic short hair breed.  If you post more photos we can help you to figure out what her pattern is.  She is probably a tabby.

There are lots of toys that you can make for your kitten for free.  For example, she would love to play with a crumpled up ball of paper that she can chase.  You may want to save money where you can because there are important vet appointments coming up.

She'll wean when she's ready. Most moms let their babies nurse for several more weeks.

Normally, yes. I just think it's important to confirm here that all is well with mom's health first. This is what we were seeing with the mastitis, too.

Sorry to harp on this, but I want to be very clear. It's critical that you finish the full run of antibiotics prescribed. Otherwise, the cat can look better, and feel better, but the infection is not actually gone and can come back.

I hope she's actually on the mend!

If mom has little milk, the kitten needs to be eating mush every 3-4 hours. The kitten must eat!
