Here is Bandit today. She went from hiding under my daughter's bed all day, to coming downstairs and letting me pet her. She's been rubbing against my leg and being affectionate but still doesn't want to be picked up. But we've made excellent progress!

She has a very pretty back LOL
and is showing pretty good too. I know she's young but I really would let her have these babies since she is so far along and get her spayed afterward. You will just have to watch her to make sure she isn't having any problems.

She's past the halfway mark. Don't spay. She sounds like she's sweet and will be a good mom.

That is tough. You don't want to lose mom, and some young mom's do not take to mothering at all which means you could end up hand rearing. On the other hand, all may be well. Big decision.

If I were you I'd probably go ahead with the pregnacy and just pray all goes well. She's about 6 weeks along and to me, that's too far to spay unless we know it poses danger to the mom. She'll probably need extra reassurance and help with her babies, but I know you're up for the task!

Yeah I have decided to let her continue the pregnancy. Thank you everyone for your opinions. I pray all goes well. She's a sweet cat. All the kittens will be fixed before they find new homes (including Rosies kittens) and both mommies as well. I know I can't save the world...but I'm going to do my part.

Bless you! That's all any of us can do is our little part. Sometimes that means mopping up after others ... Thankfully, both of these csts have a good home now! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Now if Rosie would just have her kittens already so I can have at least 2 more weeks before I have to worry to death over another one lol [emoji]128514[/emoji]

After Rosie has hers, you'll feel much more confident about the next one! (But you'll be worrying about kitten weights). [emoji]128522[/emoji][emoji]128149[/emoji]

Still no kittens for Rosie. I tried to leave her alone moat of the night instead of waking her every 2 hours to check on her. This morning she has a little wetness on the hair around her vulva. She was meowing a lot and wanting to be in my lap. I can still feel the kittens moving slightly..but I can't really see it anymore. I hope that means It's almost time but she has proved me wrong before. I'm pretty sick today. I feel like I have pneumonia and my ribs feel broken from coughing so hard. So, I have to make a trip to the doctor later. Hopefully she waits until I get back.

Oh, dear! You must feel awful! I hope you can get an early appointment with the doctor, and get yourself some meds! You need some rest yourself. You'll need to stop waking every 2 hours to check on her and try to sleep through the night. You've got too many depending on you. Try to steam yourself in the shower for some relief.

I do believe Rosie is almost there! The wet is some of her waters breaking. I'll bet she has her kittens in the next 48 hours. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I'm glad to hear that they gave you meds, and that you're trying to rest. Any progress with Rosie? [emoji]128522[/emoji]

No progress... :( She just ate a ton of food and now she's sleeping again. I know she can't stay pregnant forever but it kinda feels like she might!

I just got over a severe illness last week, it was awful. And I only had half of the stuff to deal with (3 kids and 1 pregnant cat) so I can't imagine how you feel. Try to rest! Those little fur balls will come when they're good and ready.

Aww congrats to you and Eva also! We have 4 so far. 1 torti, 1 black, 1 dark orange and 1 lighter orange. Or atleats that's how they all appear to,me so far. Smallest kitten so far is 79 grams. That's a little small right? They are all fiesty, making noise and nursing.
