It's her hormones making her protective of her unborn kittens. She also appears to want her space if she's swatting at you. I would respect her wishes and needs right now. She's due to go into labor soon!

Yea I am just leaving her be just now. And letting her come to me if she needs a cuddle etc. She has a room to herself I just leave door open so she can come and go as she pleased. I think she's getting uncomfortable

Good morning
So my girl didn't get much sleep last night just kinda wondering for room to room. I woke up for bathroom and she took me to the room I sat with her for a bit and then left her as I don't want to be to invasive. This morning she's not ate her food which has been very unlike her as she's been eating almost constantly. She lying in my hallway just now just chilling. Today is one week for due date if my calculations are correct as she we didn't kno she was in heat.

It sounds like she's getting close. You aren't being invasive, also. Many mama cats want their human very close during labor and delivery. Follow her lead.

It does sound like she may be in first stage labor. This can go on for up to 24 hours. Do you see her tummy rippling in waves?

I think I can I'm unsure if its the kittens moving or the rippling she is so tiered looking sleeping practally sitting up. Shes just been lying on my lap when I went thru and her claws were digging in to my leg as if she's tensing up?

Ah, she is having contractions! You'll have kittens today or tonight! The rippling belly is contractions.

You're welcome! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Those contractions are painful. And get more so as labor progresses.

Shes been ok so far just checking on her and making sure she's comfortable don't want to draw attention to her as don't want kids barging into room x

Kittens on the way!!  How exciting!! There's a very small part of me that wishes one of my girls could have a litter. Maybe about 5%. The other 95 % is glad they are spayed.

Kittens are so precious. I hope everything goes well.
