@Winchester-congratulations or being released from PT

@Columbine  ---nice to see you and Collie!! Keep up the yoga!!

Today was a gym day. I am very slowly managing the elliptical. I did one mile on it today. I was watching my heart rate, I did find myself to speed up, but then the heart rate increased. I had to do most of it on almost the slowest speed, but I did it! I kept my heart rate lower. It was 20 minutes on it.

I did 10 minutes on the recumbent bike, at a level 4.

Then I went to the machines. I do not push it. I am afraid of hurting my shoulder, and I cannot afford to do that. I am doing things nice and slow and easy. My arms felt a bit weaker today, but I managed to get through it.

I am avoiding all the leg/knee stuff. I am afraid of causing more harm to the knee. I really do need to work it a bit.. This is were I wish I had a PT on call!!
just being cautious, but the elliptical is really working those muscles...

I spend an easy 2 hours at the gym. Time just flies by.

Winchester Winchester it's so good to hear you are mending well. That's a lot of exercises. If it's working though you are wise to continue, besides its still exercise! And yes I will look like that st 80 :D woo!! She is fantastic. There are some truely amazing people in this world. That's some inspiration for sure.

It's very cold here today and raining. Even some snow in the region. I did 2 hrs of kinder gym classes. I didn't have to set it all up so it wasn't a great workout for me but I did a bit of moving about to keep warm and stop my nose from running :lol3: In the afternoon I did my chest, abs and shoulders TORQ. ( the little extra top up for my shoulders). My shoulders are slowly growing. I will catch up to the 80 year old woman and hopefully before I am 80 :lol3:
Good work everybody:clap:
Keep working hard:clap:

:wavey: artiemom artiemom . Thanks for the welcome :D

Took the dogs for a slow walk this morning (old man Pixie has to stop, sniff and mark a LOT  ). Just about to do an hour's yoga. May or may not go to the yard this afternoon - it depends on whether my Zooplus delivery gets here in time....

hit the gym last night.

35 min on the elliptical

32 min on the treadmill on 15% incline, no running. I just wanted to walk.

they have those tvs with headsets so I watched judge judy at 4 and the 5oclock news. the phone jack wasn't working right on the treadmill. I should have moved to another machine but I  just held the wire in a certain place to hear. it was a really good court case with judy. I never am surprised at the foolishness of people. one was a father and son sueing each other over money. in the end the father tells the son come here and gives him a hug and tells him he loves him regardless. yeah I am a sap for these kinds of shows. I didn't have enough charge on my phone to listen to music...and have to listen to something. going back tonight.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys
I've missed you all too!
Ah...but Ran Maru is a stallion and is supposed to have a big crest (hormones, ya know
). Mares aren't meant to have thick cresty, necks - Collie's is just pure fat!

Oh right, the equine equivalent of tom cat jowls.
He's got that alright. I still think Collie looks great though, so glossy and healthy looking.

90 minutes of yoga and an hour of walking today.

JTbo, how's that foot doing??

I did my exercises last night.

2.25 miles on the treadmill this morning. There was quite a bit of pain for the first half-mile or so, then it started to settle back down. Til I was done, it was fine. But it's scary, though, in a way.

I think I'll take Sunday completely off, since we'll be working outside. I don't want to, but I do think it's for the best.

So - yoga and Collie didn't happen yesterday - fibro attack kind of took over :slant: :frusty:

My neck's in spasm today, so I'll be taking it easy - 60-90 mins of gentle yoga. Cleaned the cottage for guests this morning too. Still stupidly tired... :sigh:

:cringe: Winchester Winchester , do be careful. You don't want to undo the healing that's taken place :eek:hno: :hugs:

No change really, only thing changed is that I started to have these horrible migraines again, thanks for not doing anything it seems.

are you drinking enough liquids and getting enough sleep?

Did 20 min on the elliptical machine at home this morning. I wish the space of the pedals was smaller because it didn't take long for the knee to ache. I should go to the gym but I don't feel like being around people today.going to do another 20 min in half an hour.

I did 20 minutes on the elliptical today! I managed it better than I have been ~~ progress!!!!

Then I did the rest of the machines...I skipped the recumbent bike. Guess what? My knee did not bother me!! I now realize the bike is not good for me!!

At least it is better progress. My heart rate is not as high as it has been. I did try lowering my speed a tad. I was going really slow; but I do not care, because I am doing things MY way and seeing some progress. I added a bit more weight to a couple of the machines...still not pushing it.

Then helped shopping at Costco for supplies for the chidrens recital tomorrow. We also set them up, so it was more exercise.

Tomorrow will be more exercise because I will be helping set up, serve, and breaking things down.  I never realized how much work (exercise) that all entails.  I will weigh in either Monday or Tuesday, depending how I feel.

@Winchester    Great Job!

I was feeling lighter this morning, so I decided to weigh myself a day earlier..

I was doing a happy dance!!!!   I lost 2 lbs since last Monday!

That makes a total of 15.2 lbs in total!!! and since April!!!!!!

Sorry, I had to brag.... and hijack again.....

What is exercising?

With all respect, we don't need this. It's not funny and if you're not going to give people encouragement, then stay away. We work too hard.

I did my stretching exercises tonight.

I also got 13,000 steps in today. It's not all that much, compared to what I was getting, but I'll take it.

Yesterday I did my "top up" squats TORQ. 30/ 20/ /15 reps with a 45 sec rest. I did plan to do cardio but I went for a walk with my kids instead. I told them yesterday that I'd pay them $10 each if they went for a walk every day this week with me. It's sad when you have to pay your kids to exercise. There is to be no complaining and they need to walk fast ;)

Took the kids for a 30 min walk did back and shoulders and finished with 10 mins of cardio. I lifted my top up when I was jogging and my tummy is definatley less wobbly. Woo!! That inspired me to do the cardio. I'm going so well with my nutrition these days that I'm very mindful not to overdo the cardio because fatigue = fat Tammat :lol3 I do the cardio to burn fat but if I do too much then I lose all self control and binge. I do not want to ride that crazy roller coaster anymore.
