Please has anyone got any recommendations for Persian X Chinchilla diet ?
We are currently feeding then Taste of the Wild dry food but I'm getting confused with the other varieties eg The Hills anti fur ball etc......
I was told grain free is best , then the vet says fibre is important to disperse fur in the gut ???
I want to give them the best diet possible but very confused with all these brands.
We also give them a small amount of Applaws wet food daily which they like and they both drink water.
Any suggestions please ?

Many vets don't know much about nutrition (it's not taught in depth in vet school) so don't feel that you have to feed what the vet recommends. And don't let the vet push you into feeding a specific brand. You are the voice for your cat and you make the decision on what to feed.

Grain-free is best since cats don't have a need for grains in the diet. Cat foods have fiber from other sources than grains, like pumpkin or cellulose.

Canned food is a lot healthier than dry food so try to feed more of that if you can. Are you in the US? The Applaws canned sold in the US is not a complete diet, only a supplement / treat type food.

There isn't a "best" brand to feed. Whatever your cat likes to eat is fine
Taste of the Wild is a good choice. Many people avoid Hills becuse of the very poor quality ingredients. For canned food, there are numerous good brands out here. See some of these threads for recommendations:
