Do you have a local Humane Society? They have a clinic and can usually treat a kitten. Ir call a rescue group.

there's a rescue group, not any nearby ASPCA, and there's a humane society i've been trying to get in touch with but their number is listed wrong..

these little guys came from a lady that found them, i don't even know who she was. um yeah this vet didn't even tell me until today that it's contagious. i told them i'm out of money but there's nothing they will do.

i've got harley in their crate by herself and i'm literally praying it doesn't spread.

Try emailing the humane society.

It's just Harley and one other kitten, right?

Do you have any antibiotics in the house at all?

I would start using them, hope it makes a difference, and try to reach a rescue or different vet in the meantime.

Are your other fosters through a rescue? Maybe you could use their vet.

Does Harley seem okay right now? I don't at all understand what is causing these abscesses.

What had they given you the amoxi drops for? How much of the bottle is left?

i don't know either! :( i've been keeping them clean and hydrated, could it be that they didn't get their mother's milk the first few hours? she's quiet, i tried to feed her earlier but i don't know if she just wasn't hungry or was still full from this morning (she ate quite a bit of mush this morning). but she's still got her eyes open and is walking around and stuff.

She's probably still full.

What were the drops for originally? Is there a good bit left?

they were for hershey, she gave them to him to keep him from becoming septic. i think it is some kind of infection, the vet said it was a bacteria and that it was in their blood, but that doesn't tell me much...

Well, hopefully they will cure Harley.

How bad are the abscesses and how many do you see?

They just occurred, right?

If this were a science fiction plot, these would be aliens that jumped from the dying host to a new one.
