I'm also sleeping weird hours. Yesterday I fell asleep at about 6am and woke up in the middle of the afternoon and that's happened a few times these last few days so to try and break this syndrome I didn't go to bed last night. It's now 8.50am and I'm not tired. Maybe I'll be able to stay awake until tonight and get normal sleeping hours again.
It sounds like you're just sharing your apartment if you don't see much of each other. When will the kids be home.
Kids will be here on Christmas morning.

This is our first Christmas living together. We don't really have room for the tree in the house, and we didn't want the kitties destroying it, so we put it in our Florida room. The catch is, it isn't heated! BRRRRR. So we put lights on it and have pretty much forgot about it since then. I have an idea to put a space heater out there so we can enjoy it for a few minutes at least.

My girlfriend is coming to visit us this weekend and I am hoping she will help me put the ornaments on while we listen to Christmas music (boyfriend isn't into Christmas music). I used to decorate my parents' tree when I lived at home. Our tradition was to get a real tree around the weekend before Christmas and leave it up through New Year's Day, so decorating the tree on the 21st won't really be too late for me, historically speaking. :)

I'll put up a pic I took of just the lights later tonight, and then once we decorate it this weekend I will put the update pic up!

:wavey:
Yesterday I stayed up nearly 36 hours to get my sleeping cycle back on track. It worked and I slept so well that even being jumped on by whisky from on high didn't disturb me enough to remove the 2 hooligans from my bedroom.
:D

I agree there's nothing wrong with Noah being a shepherd but he may complain. After all he was busy building a boat!
 He was multi-tasking!

We have three trees, but it's just the tree in the living room right now. I'm really hoping to get the Tacky White Tree up in the kitchen this coming weekend, though...stay tuned.

Love, love, love those purple balls on that white tree!

Thanks guys. Glad you like my little bedroom tree!
Purple has always been my favorite color, as I usually use that font color, but for some reason, It doesn't stay up long enough to click on it. It started doing that yesterday. It just flashes on, then disappears.

We have 2 trees up.  In a year or two DS will get his own.  I'd love another full size tree for the foyer (ok, a smaller, but tall tree) but I just don't think the house can hold another.

This aged lady has 5 earrings! All with purple stones in them. I also used to wear rings and bracelets also purple. In the days I wore makeup if I was wearing purple my eye make up would match and my lipstick. I only wear lipstick when I go out now and perfume. Always perfume. Not that we're talking about perfume. Rambling again.

Oh definitely!
Rick is going to put it up either tonight or on Saturday and I'll put the balls on it. It's nothing special, just a white tree with blue and white lights and blue balls.....and a Tabby.
I have a blue flannel sheet that I use as a tree skirt.

I'd love to get the old revolving color wheel and I did look for one on eBay one year, so I know they're still around. But not with the cats. That's just asking for trouble.

Thanks, Denice.

I don't have a tree this year, I've only had one 3 years in all since I've lived here (25 years) because I've never had cats that would let a tree survive longer than 10 minutes: the 3 years I had one were the 3 years I had with a blind, arthritic cat pensioner who couldn't get up on to the table I had the tree on....

What's the pink ?

You might find there's a sudden interest!

@Stewball, my frog princess has a pink feather tutu on.
I like my tree to be small but totally over the top!

I thought it was a frog but I didn't want to upset you in case it wasn't.
