There are some beautiful cats here. Here are a few pictures of my girls.

First, The Mu.

She's about six years old now. She spent the first year of her life living in the park near my old apartment but as soon as I moved to a place that allowed pets I took her with me. She's the sweetest, most chilled out cat ever.

Next, Susy Siren.

She's around four years old now. Turned up on my doorstep a few years ago, very skinny and pregnant and demanding in a loud yowl to be allowed in. That's why we call her "Siren"

Finally, Susy's daughter Mia The Minx.

She's two and a half years old. Every household needs a diva and Mia is ours.

I think The Mu and Susy are torbies and Mia is a tortoiseshell, is that right? In Japan all three would be known as mikeneko, three coloured cats.

Nice to see this thread being resurrected :D  Such a unique group of kitties.

Here's Cocoabean in the last few days.  She's been with us almost a year now and when I look back to her photos last December, I'm amazed at the difference in her demeanor and overall appearance.  She looks SO much happier, relaxed and healthier now.  And not as thin lol.

Plus the fact that you have a cat named Lox and another named Bagel.  Being from NY originally, I appreciate this :D

Such beautiful kitties. Here's some of our calicos and torties.

Milley & Scooter - 2003 bottle babies               Pookie - notice her IMPRESSIVE                Princess - talk about attitude, this

whiskers and eyebrows.                              girl has it in spades!

There is usually spider web or

vegetation hanging off of her whiskers,

                                                                    to which she is oblivious.

Little Hoot                                            Punkin                                       Sissy - shy feral who is always watching

Binky, a former feral who has been living inside exclusively with us since 3 days ago (she was VERY tame so there's been no issues with being scared, etc. She'd been in and out of the house several times but this time she got the point that we're having her stay.)

Binky and her son Cookie (unfortunately we were unable to get her spayed before she had a kitten, and I personally have a problem with spaying during pregnancy. We are planning on getting her spayed soon though. Cookie is five weeks old.)

Binky reminds me of Cali. I miss Cali so much. She was the only cat I seen in my life that would talk back EVERY TIME I talked to her. She didn't do that with anyone else in the house, ''just me''. I cried about three days when I lost her, and after three days I was nearly fainting because I hadn't eat a thing since she left us. The worst pain has passed, though there isn't a day goes by that I don't have to stop myself from getting depressed thinking about her. She followed me to every room 24/7 for 8 years and for some reason wouldn't let the dog walk in our room when I went to bed. She'd lay beside me and just purr, I had scars for a while from her digging her paws in my side as she purred. I've been to every shelter I can find in two counties, but haven't found a long hair Calico with small head and body like Cali, and my wife says I'm only torturing myself looking for another like her. I don't expect anyone else to understand what I'm missing.

I am so sorry for your loss of Cali. You know there won't ever be another just like her. But hopefully that pretty girl in the photo above will love you and let you love her just as much, just a little differently.

That is so amazing about Jamaal loving hats. It's so cute, you can't help but smile. And they do look good on her.
And Isabel, what a sweet face and such soft coloring. Her ears are so tall, reminds me of my Festus

That was Cali in the pictures. 1'st pic was Cali when she was a kitten, and the 2'nd pic was Cali at 8 years old. We still have a tabby that we adopted 8 years ago as well, but she never makes a sound. Cali talked my ears off and followed me room to room like a puppy.
