I didn't realize until a few days ago that the dilute calico was slightly rare. When our cat gave birth one of her kittens was a dilute calico, and she's been my best friend her whole life







I wish I had a better camera to show off how adorable my fluff ball is!

This is her and her calico mother who is currently in long-term hiding in my basement:

See how there fur is more brinddled then it is solid blocks
Of color, you deff have your self a couple of tortico cats
And I can tell by there photos there not lacking any torti-tude!
Thats for sure, just in case your confused the white fur with
There black and orange coat which screams CALICO!
Tortico cats a known formally as torti and white cats can have that beautiful
Black and orange brinddled coat abd some white markings which can throw
Anyone off, lol but calico cats are usually white cats with blocks
Of black abd orange fur you can never really tell what or where those
Patches will be but I can tell you one thing I know they will be BEAUTIFUL!!

The two in the picture are gatogato (the non dilute one), and Lute (or tooters, or toopsies or whatever I feel like calling her at that moment, the dilute one.) gatogato has the tortitude for sure, but lute is very timid and frightened of everything/everyone.

lol such cute names, i think everyone has like 50 nicknames for there cats lol

i call bebe kitten - itty bitty teeney weenie mama's bebe neenee kitty LOL

and mini kitty - min min marooo

and buster boy is - my baybah baybah boy!



but indeed they are very cute absolutly love there coloring, and bebe kitten is very warery of most people

except for me but shes been warming up to buster boy which is a first because i always used to say shes not a cat person

cause she ABSOLUTLY hated every cat she seen even when she was a kitten when i first go her from her brother and sisters she

was the one under the table alone while they others played together

Here is my Halloween.  She turned 1 in April.  Best $20 I ever spent!!







This is her litter that was born July 14th and the kitten on the right hand side is a tortie who is DEFINITELY staying!

BREAKING NEWS: last monday I with tear filled eyes and a heavy
Heart regret to inform the lovers of not just calico or torti
Cats, but lover of all cats.... That my baby boy Buster has been
Murdered. He was sent to me from god and I gave him the best loving
Home I could offer any animal. My heart is in peices as I go on with out
Him in my life.... RIP BUSTER BOY, I will always love you, forever...you will
Be forever missed and a part of my life and heart.. Xox

And this is Ivy. She was found by my step-sister outside of her house, covered in fleas and begging for food. Her coloring is gorgeous, she has the classic tabby pattern in an almost silver and black coloring, with splotches of cream throughout her coat!

UPDATE: as I was attempting to place flowers at Busters grave I looked
Across the street and saw a cat I ran over to see the cat and I was expecting
To have to get on my knees to look under the car cause most cats ob the street are either
Indoor/out door cats that are skittish or feral/strays. But to my amazement
As I walked around the side of the car she ran up started meowing and rubing my leg?
First thought this had to be someones cat....but as I bent down to touch her back
Only then I realized instead of a healthy kitty there standing in front of me
Was a bag of bones! Someone had broke her ribs (I'm guessing from being kicked)
And she was starving to DEATH!! I picked up the frail cat and brought her to my back yard to give
Her some food and water. The poor lil thing prickly hasn't eaten our drank anything
In about 2 weeks other then probably a dirty rain puddle. She drank the while bowl of water
I set out for her!! She obviously wasn't a hunter type like my Buster boy was
He was very capable of surviving on his own, but she wasn't. I took her in
And named her tiger lilly (lily kitty for short) shes a beautiful torbie
I beleave shes got some egyptian mau in her cause her walk seems to be on tip toe
And her beautiful facial features, shes a very loving and sweet cat she loves to be petted
And snuggled and has a very chirping meow she isn't afraid to use!
I honestly beleave Buster boy lead her to me cause I have never seen her before around where I live
And no one is claiming her which makes me mad.how could someone do such horrible things
To such a sweet and beautiful cat. I kno buster saw my broken heart from loosing him
And lead her to me, but even thoe buster wil never be replaced, I will take care of this beautiful lil
Girl like I did with him. RIP buster I love you

A wonderful kitty I'm devastated from losing my lil boy
But I'm trying to make her as comfortable and loved as much as he was

Perhaps Buster left a message for a hungry neighborhood cat on his way to heaven--"Hey, I have to go; but check out this really cool human! She'll give you food, guaranteed!" And so you have another cat.

They always seem to know when you're a cat person, don't they?

Our beautiful dilute tortie, Emily.  She was our first cat, before we knew anything much about cats.  All we knew to call her was a "gray cat."  But "blue-cream dilute tortoiseshell" sounds so much prettier.
