Thank you to everyone for your well wishes!

We are leaving here in a little bit now, I just wish he understood why I was leaving him there

Poor Davidson
I always hate having to leave them at the vet's office. Keep us updated throughout the day if you can

Well, I dropped him off
The vet tech was really nice, and they said they would keep him in his carrier throughout his stay, since his towel and shirt and little toy are in there. I said goodbye to him at home, cuz if I had to do it in the vets office, I probably would have cried!

They had the most beautiful office cat that they rescued from the Humane Society- the biggest, most beautiful black cat I've ever seen in person! He just sat right up on the counter looking around, dogs, cats- people came in, and he didn't move!
I was petting him and he purring away.... I almost put him in the carrier and brought him home!

I miss my little guy already, I don't have anyone to cuddle with!

Harley is happy so far, he's got his own wet pouch this morning, as usually they both share one
He was starving since he couldn't eat anything last night either, since Davidson couldn't. He wasn't too happy, and I didn't get much sleep!

Thank you everyone for your well wishes, it means so much to me

I hope not!

Harley is just kinda walking around the apartment lost- he's not used to being the only cat around here anymore! Although he has taken Davidson's spot next to the window in the sun- catching up on some rest that he definately doesn't get when Davidson is around!

If he is anything like Phenom he will adjust quickly to being the only cat again. May even glare at you when Davidson comes back home as if to say "How dare you bring HIM back!!"

I don't doubt that! He's being extra lovey today too since Davidson's been gone!

Calming and Get Well vibes for poor little Davidson.

He'll be home before you know it! Although - I wouldn't believe everything people say here - he might hold it against you for a little while.
I would get lots of Make-up treats ready.

Well, I just called the vets office and they said he's about 1/2 ways awake, but everything went well

One thing I'm a bit mad about tho, is that I asked the lady at the front desk (again) if they had a payment plan to pay for it, and she said NO!
I told her that when I called last week, I was told that they did- and she told me that she wasn't sure who would have told me that, but they don't do that. UGH!! At least its cheaper than what I thought it was gonna be... but still. I'm a bit torked.

But the good part is that my baby is all done with his procedure and all went well
I can't wait to pick him up- I'm getting up early (7AM) and getting him. I can't wait much longer than that!

Thank you for all your vibes- I know they worked!

Now they don't have a payment plan for you!?!?
I'd be flaming too Kenz!!! Do you remember who you talked to that said they had a payment plan? Myabe next time you call or when you get Davidson in the am, see if you can talk to someone else & ask if they have a payment plan!!!

I'm glad to hear surgery went well!

I am glad to hear that the surgery went well. I would def. ask again when you go to pick the little man up. Maybe whoever you talked to today didn't know what they were talking about.

/ (also- talk to the vet about a payment plan and let him know what's going on- how you were told one thing then another- maybe he'll work with you
)

I know, I'm pretty mad- its $99.50 for his neuter- and when I was told they would work with me, I wasn't worried about it. Now I have to max out my credit card that I really didn't want to use!
Some people really irk me!!

If my vet wasn't so awesome, I'd seriously consider switching!

Glad to hear that Davidson came through ok...it's really underhanded of the vet's office to tell you one thing and then change their mind

Im so glad to hear that everything went well. I Know you cant wait to have your baby boy back in your arms again.

Call back to the vets office and leave a message for the vet himself to call you back. Speak with him/her and see what he is willing to do about a payment plan.

I'm so glad everything went well!!!!!!!!! He'll be home and in your arms in no time.

I would definitely speak to the vet before you go. It is NOT OK to be told by one person there's a payment plan and then AFTER the surgery to be told there isn't! SOMEONE doesn't know what they're talking about! Maybe she just didn't know you, and it's something they do for regular clients.

But I wouldn't leave with Davidson before speaking to the vet!

Thanks guys... I'm gonna talk to someone tomorrow morning when I go in. I'm not too happy with it, and I'm gonna let them know!
When I called to schedule his Friday apt. with the vomiting, I asked her and she asked for my name- and then she said that they do have something, where you can pay monthly, but they have a $4 service charge each month.
I don't care if I can pay 1/2 now and 1/2 next month, its just hard on the pocketbook when you told one thing, and then another thing 3 days later

You shouldn't have been told one thing then & another thing now Kenz!! I know sometimes they only offer payment plans to people that have been to their clinic before & that they know will pay them back, not just stick them for the money.
