Sounds like Habibi is doing well. It is hard to know why your cat through up. I had a vet tell me once sometimes cats just through up, and really no good reason why. And all the tests in the world won't nessisarily give you a reason.  But vomiting could also mean that the food can't go anywhere...

Glad to hear Habibi is still doing well.  There is usually is a pretty drastic behavior change when the gut is blocked. It is very uncomfortable to say the least. Bright perky & playful are good signs, like you said.

Do you think this cat will be black? This is not a pointed cat. Siamese and pointed cats are born solid white. They do not look like this.

Believe it or not but Pet'sMart or Petsmart brand Sofisticat has a higher fat content than every other brand there (Canned kitten food). But Royal Canin dry feed is awsome for nutrition and canned food is not really needed, but for training and a treat.

Personality does have a genetic component. Sorry to say this but shelter cats are there for a reason. If this cat has a genetic feral personality, there is not much you can do.

Take her with you!! She will adjust. I promise. She will be scared, but she will evetually adjust. You have forged this bond with her don't abandon her. In the long run she will have a long happy life inside, with maybe 1-6 months of being freaked out while adjusting. And your male will be fine...

Have any of you ever trapped a feral cat w/ kittens?  She won't put herself in a situation where she could be separated, ie going in a trap. She will starve before she goes in that trap. . But your best bet is to put the kittens in that trap. I am super experienced in this. And I am an animal...

Lilkim- Ignore them. Go for it. Dangerous to a cats health to have kittens...really. That's just propaganda to keep people from breeding. Your cat will die if you breed it, so if you love your cat don't breed it- sarcasm....

Get her babies and put them in the trap. She will forgo all previous experiences to get to her babies. Can't try for too long because babies need to be fed every 2-3 hours at this age. If you can't catch her, then you might get stuck hand rearing kittens. At that age I only feel comfortable tube...

If it is a mastitis give her a shot of penicillin. You want it to pop and drain. No worries cats are tough. I had a cat do fine with a mastitis with the kitten nursing.

Temperament is also a big deal with this breed, they have a bad rap of being temperamental cats. Which if you breed correctly you should have a beautiful cat second to a sweet & loving personality.

The reason I ask is Siamese have issues genetically and you would't want to breed a cat that would carry that trait.

How is you Siamese blind? Injury, Congenial? Traditional Siamese are rare. What kind do you have? Have you priced papered Siamese?
