Carpet Cleaner: Best For Feces & Vomit?

Thanks Lynda, But you are talking too much work: Rather spend $$ on a good cleaner, that requires minimal effort. But you piqued my curiosity, and sure enough, the 2nd ingredient after my favorite cleaner is: H2O2, preceded by purified water. Now you have thinking: The 2 products are I...

Carpet Cleaner: Best For Feces & Vomit?

Good news: Oxy Solution, by Simple Solution, does a stellar job on these stains, as well as diarrhea. Have light gray carpet, and there is visual or odor evidence of the accidents. Bad news: Cannot find it anywhere, including the company's website ... and I'm starting to run low. E-mailed...

    Untippable Water Bowl Or Bottle?

An idea, but it means putting something heavy on my nice kitchen floor, to attach the velcro to. Might be my last resort. Has the advantage of being able to remove the water bowl for cleaning.

Thanks mrsgreenjeens, was hoping to hear from Ragamuffin owners. But worst case, will contact Royal Canin again. They were helpful, when it came to choosing a dry food. (Yes, my critters get both canned & dry.)

Litter Boxes 101: Best Procedure For Fully Emptying The Box?

Thank you Willowy, Thought that was using 3 inches, but doing the math (5 gallon of used litter / surface area of the litter box = depth of litter), I had 4 inches. What brand of plastic bag are you using? What size?

Litter Boxes 101: Best Procedure For Fully Emptying The Box?

4 1/2 lbs? That's nothing. Picking up the litter box, to empty it, strained but didn't kill my back. I have to be doing something wrong. :(

Litter Boxes 101: Best Procedure For Fully Emptying The Box?

Thank again IndyJones. Using Dr. Elsey's, and wondering if during the course adding new after each semi-daily scooping, went way over 3" depth.

Litter Boxes 101: Best Procedure For Fully Emptying The Box?

So tabbytom, instead dumping the litter box into a single plastic bag, you are splitting it into multiple bags? How many lbs / gallons per bag? Using the canned boxes is smart, because they are strong enough to hold the weight. But they are also open, so if you trip on the stairs, mess time.

Litter Boxes 101: Best Procedure For Fully Emptying The Box?

Have a Nature's Miracle triangular-shaped box, and fully dumping it was a pain because of the weight of the litter: Line a 5 gallon pail w. a large plastic bag. Pick up the litter box & dump the full contents into the plastic bag. Tie up plastic bag & cap the pail. Wipe down the litter box w...

Cat Tree: How to move upstairs, without help?

Sounds like a slow process, which a killer for me since I get dizzy on the stairs, if I stand still or move slowly.

Cat Tree: How to move upstairs, without help?

Definitely.  And I would have been able to move something that light on my own, by getting behind it & push it up the stairs ... done it before. But this tree was purchased at a cat show, and is partially covered by plastic wrap. Since I won't be happy w. 3 trees, have to think of a long-term...

Cat Tree: How to move upstairs, without help?

Spent all last night trying to solve this, and found the following: Cart-based solutions are the most practical, because a cart could also move heavy objects (e.g. 6' cat trees) on level groundIf you need to rest, while going up the stairs, or the cart slips, you risk damage not only to the...
