Mine are still kittens, getting both Hills Science Diet canned & Royal Canin dry. But I'm planning ahead.

Thanks mrsgreenjeens, was hoping to hear from Ragamuffin owners. But worst case, will contact Royal Canin again. They were helpful, when it came to choosing a dry food. (Yes, my critters get both canned & dry.)

The best food for any cat is high in protein (so it should have meat as the first ingredient), and be free of fillers that are just empty calories for cats (specifically grains and potatoes). It's best if wet food is also carrageenan-free, because carrageenan can have inflammatory and carcinogenic effects in cats.
