Just had word from my other half - he came round from surgery absolutely fine and now he's home he is running around like a madman! Probably feeling the breeze between his back legs
Driving Jinna up the wall with his antics!
As the others have already said, find a way either through a cage or a room with a closed door, to keep the kits safe. I'm in the UK and our local vet and cat charities will lend out cages to people, usually to help with introducing cats to each other. Getting him spayed is definitely a must...
Oh god, they're stunning. My heart just melted! How can anyone dump anything that beautiful?! Unfortunately, I can't help on the surgery question, but I really hope you find some help with that!
I’m not sure this should become an indoor vs outdoor debate, given that this circumstance is so unique.
In this case, I would agree that indoor fits better as the behavioural pattern is broken for the cat, as that behaviour is very much harnful to them at the moment. Cruel to be kind and all...
Thank you for your kind welcome @1CatOverTheLine and @tabbytom !
Oh no, post photos of my cats? What a hardship *grins* Here ya go:

See? Jinna loves snuggles!

Hi guys!
I'm Cat (no, really, my name's Catriona), and I have two wonderful little furbabies:
1) Jinna (otherwise known as Neffie, for Nefertiti given the angled, hieroglyphic cast to her features and haughty manner) and
2) Ash (aka The Pirate Prince for the patch over his eye and habit of...
She'll be fine - when we got our latest kitten, Jinna, she came from a feral mum so came complete with ear mites, roundworms and fleas with her sassy attitude (that was a fun couple of weeks!). We didn't use ointment though, we had to syringe liquid into her mouth and it started working within...
Ohhhh...don't be stressed. Just keep her indoors with you and play with her often. She'll be absolutely fine and with a whole year to get used to being an indoor cat, she'll break her attachment to that house and then when you move, you can always reintroduce her to the outside again slowly.
I think you might be worrying too much here - if you catch another cat, you can set it free. Frustrating but it happens. One year we tried to catch a rabid squirrel so it could be put down humanely and the local hedgehogs kept wandering into the cage instead *rolls eyes*
The kitten might...
Hey guys!
In a couple of weeks, my two kittens will both finally be neutered/spayed, microchipped and fully up to date with their shots soooooo.....it's time to introduce to the big, wide world! *cue strains of Cat Steven's Wild World while I sob*
It's been a good decade and a half since I...
Yay! I love a happy ending :) I was really hoping as I read through the thread that you would end up adopting them...cats are really adaptable. Give them a few weeks and they figure out their territory...I'm so happy you have a new companion :)
All my cats have been outdoor cats...cooping up a predator always seemed a bit harsh to me, though plenty of my friends' cats seem perfectly happy with being indoor cats. Personal preference :)
All cats are different, just like people. Some like to stay close to where they were born and...
Will do @talkingpeanut ! Work is now dragging so slowly until I get to go home and see him (I swear I revert to being seven years old when it comes to my cats!)
Oh, I want a copy of that poster by @kat0121 ! That is brilliant :D My mum once tried to shoo away our brand new kitten...with her foot. Needless to say, we definitely had a few words with her!
I'd go with the band aid approach - if I held off, I'd have it at the back of my mind all of the...
