I would call a few ads and ask why they are saying "no dogs". Some don't like hyper animals. Others may be very aggressive towards dogs. Others may have just never met a dog so they don't know how they would react.

^^^That is the barn cat I was talking about. Also friendly to humans that belong. And a tendency to be mousers not birders. 

We have more barns and graineries than houses where I live. I can see 6 from my from door step because I live on the edge of town and the prairie is really flat  It's not the overly domesticated lazy city cats that are scared of mice and rats and do nothing except eat cat food, get their groove...

Why not have purebred cats? If you are carefully breeding and caring for them why not also work on improving the breed too? Add an extra layer of benefit to your work. Or better yet breed actual barn cats. The kind that catch mice and rats, avoid coyotes, and are good around kids and...
