    Cat in heat?

    Out of my 3 young kitties, the male, who is larger, has already been neutered [about a month ago] but the two girls [who are substantially smaller] are not yet spayed. Molly is the older one [from a diff litter than the other girl] and is apparently in heat; she is being affectionate, making her...

    climbing on counters & getting in cabinets!

    So my 3 kittens are about 4 and 5 months old. Marvin has recently become a terror! He was so well behaved and recently he just will not behave at all. We have tried bitter apple, critter cord, and homemade remedies to get him to stop chewing on stuff and for the most part it has worked. Now we...

    my little ones: Sugar, Marvin & Molly

    Some of you may remember me posting a couple of times about the kitten a stray we were taming had and we took in when the mom was killed. We had a lot of issues with her and we weren't even sure if she'd make it at a couple of points. Well Sugar is almost 4 months and she's doing amazing...

    bitter apple question

    i bought a very small bottle of bitter apple spray for cats and we have used quite a bit of it and i've thought about purchasing some more and they have larger refill bottles that i've seen online but only for dogs. is there a big difference between the dog and cat formula or should i get only...

    odd meowing

    I would definitley keep them in my room at night but there is too much stuff that he could get into and I don't want to take any chances of my babies get hurt etc. Once they are older and know better than to get into things [when my other boys got a bit older than they are, and were neutered...

    odd meowing

    at night i put my kittens sugar and marvin [marvin's about 3.5 months old and sugar's a couple weeks younger] in a seperate room and keep them in there because they get into stuff otherwise. it has bedding, toys, food water, litterbox. i've been doing it since they've been old enough to be on...

    taming a wild kitten?

    a stray brought kittens to our house and we were able to catch 3/4 and gave 2 of them away to my friend. we kept the 3rd and tried to catch the 4th but didn't even think it existed for the longest time til the mom abandoned it and it made it's way to our porch and now it comes and eats and sits...

    vaccinations = tired/lazy

    My dad said he ate some early this afternoon when they woke up from their nap after their appointment. And he said he was playing fine and chasing the other kitten and running around etc. And then he laid down and slept for a long time and when he woke up he ate a few small bites of the wet food...

    vaccinations = tired/lazy

    We don't have an after hours number. We don't even have a fulltime vet. The closest animal ER is over an hour away. I think I will watch him closely tonight and then in the morning if he's not acting better I'll call our vet.

    vaccinations = tired/lazy

    What do you mean it KILLED her?! The doctor recommended it because we have outdoor cats that sometimes come in when the weather isn't favorable etc and our other indoor cats had the shots too. Sugar acts okay, but Marvin is the one that is being lazy/tired acting. Is my kitty going to be okay!????
