I have done my research for about 3 days know taking screenshots and sending things to my phone number about helping with the birth and taking care of the kittens if I have to just in case something happens you know so while it is not any easy task I should be ready

In what conditions?
If she gives birth outside, the sad reality is that the kittens will not have a very high survival rate. Even in a perfect world where they do all survive, and they do find homes, the chances of all those kittens making it to a happy adulthood is very, very low.

I know I seem like a downer in this thread, but these are just some of the many, many reasons why cats should be fixed.

I get what your saying and I don’t want to argue but I feel like this should be said my cat that’s probably pregnant her name is crystal her mom has given birth to 5 cats before her she is the 6th and they all lived to be a decent age like they all had full fur and everything but we’re still kittens and while I don’t know if they died the chances are they probably did but only because of where we live like they were run over or Eaten sadly because we live surrounded by woods with foxes and deer and stuff

If she isn't spayed, and had been outdoors (or indoors with an unneutered male), yes, she's almost certainly pregnant this time of year.

Well, look at it this way: 83% of Crystal's mother's kittens have likely died due to outside conditions. Unfortunately, that's the sad reality of cat overpopulation.

It's good you're willing to let her inside for the birth. Are you prepared to pay for the veterinary costs for all of these cats? What are your plans for after the birth, if you choose not to spay Crystal?

See that’s what I thought to and yes she is a wild cat but we haven’t seen any males only once and we got him fixed after we found out he was a dad but now he’s gone but when I was still in third grade the cats started showing up out of now where so I’m positive she is since she lives in the wild but I’m gonna try to help her with the birth if she is I have also been talking to someone else about for like 2 hours now

Honestly I haven’t thought that far ahead yet I’m concerned with helping with the birth of their is one and trying to help take care of the kittens

I probably sound like a broken record, but the best thing you can do for your cats (the male and Crystal) is to get them fixed. I am sorry to say that though you may be happy at the idea of kittens, there are other ways to have kittens besides allowing Crystal to give birth. Your cats are most certainly not overjoyed at the thought of having kittens.

Your male cat is also definitely not happy if he's not fixed. He is constantly wanting to leave the house and mate when he should be chilling at home without all those girl problems on his mind. :p

While your probably right he is really happy and loves on my all the time the only time he tries to go outside is when he sees crystal because like I said he attacks her and I’m pretty sure their the same type of cat

And I might get her fixed and her kittens but maybe not all of them because this gonna sound crazy but cats are my life and the thought of putting an end to one family for ever just kills me inside

He is likely trying to mate with her, not attack her. That's the hormones at work and the only way to stop it is to get him neutered. As long as these cats are unfixed, this will keep happening. Your cats will mate, they will have kittens, those kittens will mate, etc. It may sound cute, but the sad reality is that most of the cats will not have a happy home for the rest of their lives.

You should keep this in mind - your cats do not know what a family is, nor do they care if their friends come from a different mom, dad, whatever. They just want a happy, stress-free home. :) If Crystal gives birth to four kittens and you spay three, that leaves one kitten who would have to go through the same thing Crystal is having to go through. Unfortunately, it is a cycle that will continue unless all of them are fixed.

I know it just makes me so sad thinking I would of caused the end but at the same time it can be bad to give birth and my male cat his name is Oreo I now know what they do to mate and he chases her when she doesn’t want him around and swats at her with his paw

It's not a pleasant experience for Crystal, and Oreo is driven by hormones to mate constantly. It's not fun being an unfixed cat.

Yeah, that's what happens to most outdoor kittens, sadly. So do whatever you can for her to have and raise her kittens indoors (can you keep her in your bedroom with the door closed?), and make sure she's spayed before she goes outside again. Cats can get pregnant again right away after giving birth, but that's really hard on them, plus taking care of that many kittens is hard and expensive.

I probably will get them fixed I just want her to give birth because her mom (spook) has another daughter that survived and we got her fixed
Well, if she's already pregnant then birth is still an option. What will you do after she gives birth? If she has a large litter of seven kittens, will you have the space in your home to accommodate? Do you have the resources to afford vetrinary care for nine cats if something goes wrong?

I’m not sure what accommodate means but I should have space for them but sadly I’m not sure about money I mean we have it but with this stuff going on I have no idea
