Well it's only a week to go, I've got everything ready for shadow apart from his cat tree, which I still have to put up, which will be hilarious, it'll be like erecting flat pack furniture. I plan to put it up on the Friday so I've got the Saturday to get my friends around to help if it goes horribly wrong!!!!
I can't wait to get him out of that bedroom & give him a full house to explore at his leisure!!!!

I was thinking of you earlier: I couldn't remember if Shadow was coming home today or next week. You must be getting so excited! This has been a long journey for the two of you.
I remember putting up my cat tree...it was an adventure but once I got started, it all came together pretty easy. [emoji]127808[/emoji] Good Luck [emoji]127808[/emoji]
I'm looking forward to hearing all about how things are going with Shadow.

Hi hellomisskitty,
Yes it's next Sunday, I've got shadow loads of toys, the cat tree shouldn't be too much of a problem. I'm just soooo looking forward to getting him home & spoiling him!!!!

You should first make sure that you are ready to have a cat, you should always have enough time to play with the cat because he is near 6 yrs. Old, 80% of 6 yr old cats have arthritis but there owner doesn't know, you should also have enough budget for him. He should be properly taken care of because he is also going to be a senior cat soon.

Hi folks,

Well only 2 days left until I get shadow, I'm starting to get a bit nervous hoping I can be a good mum to him. I've bought him a covered cat bed for him to escape to initially if he's a bit scared as I think an open cat tree might initially be to much for him. I'm really looking forward to getting him but I'm nervous, is this normal??

Yes being nervous is normal because you want your new baby to be happy and comfortable. You have done so much to provide Shadow with a great home already. You will be a great mom to Shadow.
