Is that good.or bad?
Sorry I didn't get back on here sooner.

I've decided it is good; helps draw your attention to those 5 pencils when you are new to the set.  Also, while the other pencils are round, those 5 have 6 sides, another way to identify them.

I know folks told me the Manga pencils refer to the color palette.  I have to say, they 'feel' different on the page, and they cover more easily.  I don't have to go over and over to get the bold color I want, or to fill in white spaces.

Very interesting update.   I might just go take a read about those pencils to see if they have been produced for Manga style drawing and colouring.  You could be right about them having a different texture and coverage, I think when we were saying Manga referred to Manga drawings and possibly a related colour palette it was guessing rather than knowledge about the pencil range.

Not knowing how to colour I'll take your word for it. Have fun.

Finally finished this:

@newmamaof3 I like both of your cat pictures

I did this one this morning. Ignore the random green mark, my hand slipped.

Green mark? What green mark?

I got my Soul of the Woodland book today
Yes, Amazon order but no problems with delivery. It came by postal mail instead of Amazon Logistics. Some of the pictures in the book are on a free coloring page web site
I printed off some of the same images for the walk challenge team gift. I guess someone scanned pictures from various books in to post online for anyone to use?

That's a nice bright vision of summer for me this cold morning @LTS3.

It does seem that some book designs make it on to the free sites for down load, like the one I realized earlier was from The Secret Garden.   Hopefully authors have given consent or images are not copyrighted or the authors will be seriously unhappy.  I think you can copy a small % of book pages for your own use e.g. when studying but I doubt that covers copying them and then posting them all over the internet.
Nice for those of us enjoying the images but not so good for those trying to sell their work.   Have to say there is something nice about using a book which has been printed on nice quality paper.

In the top middle, there's a green line from my hand slipping.

It hasn't made it to the fridge yet. It's sitting beside the fish tank right now.
Really. I wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't pointed it out and I bet.nobody else did. Your too hard on yourself.

FYI:  A C Moore carries Dover Publications Creative Haven books.  The new set are out!  I decided not to get the Christmas books, but I did get both winter ones:  Winter Scenes, and Winter Scapes.  Those are 2 for $10.  I also bought one titled Angels, and another titled Godesses.  Also by Dover; those 2 are $4 each.

Loving the tortoise design!
I wonder why they made them all look so sad though?

I've been busy colouring, just not busy photographing.
