Don't worry about them fighting if they don't when you're there. Yes I have a pet door but it doesn't come into my house. It just goes into the back vestibule between the garage and the back door. Pi used to come in through it and go into the garage for his food and to play with his toys, etc. I would set up his bed in the vestibule. But now I probably won't need that pet door unless he were to escape the house somehow. Need it or not it will remain as it is part of the storm and screen door.I am giving bell the freedom to make his own choice weather he wants to be in the house or out. And so far he had been in the house more than outside. I make sure he comes in at night. Today he chooses to be in. Also today my cat gwen came over to bell and was smelling him all over. Bell seems to be a insecure cat because he follows me like a dog would follow. It's so cute. My biggest goal is getting him to stay in when I go visit my daughter . I am just afraid that the two cats would fight. But they never fought yet and they sleep together. Judy did you install the cat door? Someone on another post told me that there is a cat door that only lets cats in by the Micro chip? Hope all is well. You to stewball.
