You're not going to believe this... Lazlo's anemic

Aw sweetie

, Lazlo is one of my favorite kitties that you have, if i had to pick one. His facial markings are so expressive. I know he has lost some weight, but he doesn't look that bad to me. If I look straight down on my cats, they have that indention in front of the hips too. Squeak looks like Lazlo from the top view, but he has a huge swinging belly. Now, i am sitting here wondering if Pipsqueak is too skinny

. It is hard, for me too, when the our babies lose weight from being ill. Lazlo is eating well again, so heres hoping he puts on a pound or two.

. He is a gorgeous guy

Yeah, the pictures don't show it, I guess. When you pet him, you can feel every bone in his back. His hips and ribs are jutting out. I don't seem to be able to capture a pic of it, but his skin is just hanging off of him.

Obviously I'm watching him like a hawk. We had to run out for about four hours today, so I wasn't here to feed him kibble. Lunch was 1/2 hour late. He was dry heaving when we came in and didn't eat much.

I'll see how it goes this afternoon/this evening, and if it seems necessary, I'll give him the appetite stimulant we came home with.

Yes I can see in the one photo how skinny his legs are...I am hoping it's just ups and downs in the healing process and that he eats well for you at dinner time

When Bobber was still with us and after one of her many surgeries she would spit her antibiotics out. We tried everything. But (living in Wisconsin) we tried a cheese spread first and she licked it off our fingers. So we let her do that 2-3 times. We dipped the pill in the cheese and pushed it down in the back of her throat and she never noticed! We also continued a few more tastes of the cheese too. I might have to try this with Nub-e.
