I found the best odur and clumping by mixing chn feed with swheat scoop
Hi TJWharton, I'm not a cat expert or anything and I might get flack for saying this but I used WBCL when my cats were little kittens. They were weeks old (rescues), not newbornsOriginally Posted by tjwharton24
Right now i'm just trying to find a great litter. I have a mother to be kitty and she is using that Tidy Cat Muti-cat crystals. I'm gonna need something for the kits to learn in the not dangerous.
Can anyone help?
Luv you for this post! Never heard of Tidy Cats Tidy Lock until your post. Thank you! And guess what: I found it on the website: http://www.tidycat.com/GetPage.aspx?ContentID=96Originally Posted by fosterkitty
I love Tidy cats, but it has to be the kind that says "Tidy Lock" on the side of the bucket. There are still some in a few stores here that are the old version. The tidy lock clumps great and doesn't smell. i have 6 cats and 7 litter boxes.
Yup. That's what I hate about Tidy Cats too BUT it does a superb job in odor control I find.Originally Posted by Shorty14788
I hate how tidy cats litter clumps... Everything falls apart ...
Hi Mom2SalemIsis. Oh boy, I know exactly what you're talking about. What's funny is I just noticed I have an empty container of Tidy Cats Small Spaces With Tidy Lock. (Just went over to look!) If you ask me why the empty container is sitting around, oh goodness I can't answerOriginally Posted by Mom2SalemIsis
I use tidy cats also but i am not able to use the tidy lock kind because merlin refuses to use the LB if the litter has a sand consistency to it i love the fact that it covers the oders so well but wish i could scoop it(clumps). we scoop everyday because we have a small apartment and 2 covered litteboxes with 3 kittys. so far no one has said anything about smelling the LB's and in fact most of them say they wouldnt know i had cats except the fact that i talk about them as much as i do my kids lol. i wish they could make the regular multi-cat litter that clumped without making it sandy.
it's good to know someone likes it. i bought it for my kitten, but i'm trying to wean her off the clay stuff she's used to right now.Originally Posted by lakeriedog
I like the Nature's Miracle clumping litter, it clumps well and controls odor.
I use the same thing and PHX loves this! I don't really get a strong odor when I use this brand.. unless its recent!! I think that the smell all depends on how often the owners take care of the boxOriginally Posted by trixie23
Im gonna get crap for this but I like Fresh Step! I know odorless and even clump free is recommended (because of the clay... avoiding an ingestion issue) but this is what I use at the time! Im open for suggestions! I use scented because Tiger drops some serious and deadly waste!
I think this is generally true, but in the case of Baggie's poop... no, it's just the stinkiest thing when it comes out, but about 10 minutes later, the smell has ... disappeared. I mean, I clean out their boxes about every two days, scooping.. and when I'm sitting right there, in front of the box, with my face less than two feet away, even the poopies don't stink..it's just that first 10 minutes..
