Lately Reeses has this habit of following me into the bathroom. Because of health reasons it's a common day to day stop for me and alot of times, she'll know (or atleast think) that's where I'm headed, run past me and beat me to it. She doesn't do it to my wife, only me, and nothing I do can get her out of there usually. I usually try and go in, then leave, and she'll follow me and run past me. I wait until she's far enough away and then I'll hurry back and shut the door. Once she came running after me and I accidentally shut the door right as she ran into it...ouch...needless to say she left me alone for the day. What's funny is it could be 2am and I'll get up, and no matter where she is (usually she's under the bed), before my feet hit the floor she'll give a really loud meow like "Yay!" and bolt past me into the bathroom.
What does she do when I relent and let her stay in there? She'll walk around my legs, lick me, she purrs constantly, she'll sniff the curtains in the bathroom, itch her head on the toilet shutoff valve, or just flop down on the floor and stare at me. Then when I go to wash my hands, she lays down in front of the sink and I have to push her out of the way, then she goes to the door and sits there waiting for me to open it She'll turn around and meow at me as if to say "Ok lets go!" and then she leaves with me. Then usually on the way back to the bedroom she spends the rest of the short trip trying to grab onto my ankles as I'm walking back to the bed *lol*
Do any of your cats do this?
