Absolutely - they have you as a captive audience so why wouldn't they? I have 3 bathrooms and my cats have their favorite bathroom to raid. Koko is the master bathroom toe licker. Muddy sometimes jumps in my lap while I'm sitting. Pinky, Spanky, Sage, Dakota prefer the hall bathroom. Stumpy isn't picky and just waits by the sink in any of them.

I've given up privacy in the bathrooms.

Bathroom time is always an experience at my house. I never know who to expect, but Corky and Gizmo are usually the first two to come in. Gizmo usually sits on the back of the toilet playing with my air, while Corky sits on the side of the tub begging for attention. Then, I have Buttercup, my pug, who insists on hanging off the pants between my legs, stares at me with bug eyes...and snorts...over and over again, with her little curly tail just a wagging! Those three are a constant thing. Every now and then, Harley or Missy will take a running leap into my lap, or Snickers will come in to make sure everything is ok. Yeah, there is no privacy in our bathroom!

I usually have scrub pants on, which have a drawstring waist. Maggie loves to play with the drawstring while I'm sitting there. As soon as I flush, Lola comes tearing into the bathroom to watch the water swirl in the toilet....she's just fascinated by it. Cleo usually comes in for a few scritches and pets while I'm a captive audience. Since I live alone, the bathroom door is never closed so they come and go pretty much at will.

Loki is the latest bathroom follower. He follows me upstairs, as I'm readying for bed; waits on the landing, and positively SCREAMS in a harsh voice, until I go into the bathroom. One night, he was sooo mad; I was taking longer tham usual in the bedroom, changing the sheets. He then screams until I pick him up, and hold him--if I don't he starts scurrying up me. Problem is, I'm on the toilet! (He's also waiting for me to fill the bathtub.)

Funny thing is, when I shower in the morning, he doesn't do this--he must like the tub--probably doesn't scare him like the shower would. He likes to get in the tub as it fills; I have to keep pulling him out!

stoli and luxor run into the bathroom EVERY time someone goes in there, even it if's a stranger. they love to see the toilet flushed and use me as a springboard to jump to the window sill.

i think they just want to go into the bathroom because we always keep the doors closed..

Rowdy and Buddy are my bathroom escorts. They figure that, as long as I'm just sitting there, I might as well pet them. Rowdy likes to sit on or in the tub and watch, while Buddy does the ankle-to-knee rub.

Brushing my teeth is a whole 'nother matter. Buddy sits on the sink, stands on his hind legs with his paws on my chest, head butting me. I have to manipulate the toothbrush with my right hand and pet Budddy with my left. When its time to spit, I have to move Buddy out of the way.

When I shower, Buddy sits at the end of the tub and plays peek-a-boo around the shower curtain. In the meantime, Rowdy pulls the towels off of the bar and curls up on them.
