That, and once you start letting her she does it to anyone, because anyone in my apt is also her bestest friend. She tried to "share" a pop with the cable guy once.

I never "let" my cats do it because I'm afraid it will teach them to be beggers, but if they manage to sneak a lick, I won't throw it out.

My cat hates 99% of people food so it's not really an issue.. but roxygo would not be allowed in licking distance of any people food in the first place (not allowed on tables/counters).. In the event that he DID lick something, I would not eat or drink it out of principle, but I know that just by letting him crawl all over my bed after using the litter box I'm subjected to countless ickies much worse than a lick would give..

i'd have to say yes. I am sure i've eaten much worse and just not known about it.
