Cool! Have them take a picture of the place and ask them if you can post it hereOriginally Posted by Crazyforinfo
Assuming it's an evil spirit, my answer was no.
BTW my in-laws live around the street from the amityville house that was used in the movies. It's creepy!
Next time I am there, I will ask that we drive byOriginally Posted by cococat

Pentagrams aren't bad, either.Just another symbol that has been given a bad rap with misguided superstition.
You know what? Maybe that's what it was doing. As soon as they ripped off the boards that had the pentagram painted on it, that's when their "demonic" activity started. The Fireplace itself (where you put the wood) was probably the portal.Originally Posted by littleraven7726

As far as I know Pentagrams are protective symbols. Perhaps the one that was in the house on that show was actually an inverted pentagram? That would make more sense to me.
That must have been what I missed in the first 5 minutes. I was puttering around while that part was on. That makes sense.Originally Posted by lunasmom

So I'll just leave the pentagram as is or buy another house
Pentagrams are a protection symbol. And "A Haunting" is just as bad as "Most Haunted" They've both been proven as acting.Originally Posted by lunasmom
You know, I was open to owning a haunted house...providing I don't find ANY pentograms during the viewing.
I've been watching "A Haunting" (now ghost hunters, but that's beside the point) and one couple purchased a house with a pentogram painted on some boards that covered one of the fireplaces.
OMG they had such a horror/demon haunting that place that I pretty much am leary about buying one. Even after they got rid of the entity, another one came through because where that pentagram was placed was a portal for demons.
