I live in Bloomfield, which is Essex County. I'm about 5 or 10 minutes from Montclair State if that helps.Originally Posted by Sweets
Where in NJ did you live?? We should all get together for lunch to share kitty pix!

Alaska? Winterpeg would suffice. I think it's cold 7 or 8 months a year here. It also gets to -40°F in the winter. Is that cold enough for you?Originally Posted by mferr84
Anywhere that is cold most of the year! I would love more than anything to go back to Alaska and build a cabin up there or at least use it as a summer vacation houseMaybe one day
I would love to live in Europe somewhere, anywhere! Not permanetly, but for a couple of years.
Ahh yes, bikini weather!!Originally Posted by Hydroaxe

LOL! You should have told them that you had a rechargeable car!Originally Posted by mferr84

I couldnt imagine actually being outside working in that weather. Going for a walk or outside to play in the snow would be okay. I just want to live somewhere that cold so I can sit in front of a fireplace cuddled up, drinking cocoa and watch a movie... Look one direction and see snow and ice... look the other way and see fire! Fun!Originally Posted by Hydroaxe
LOL! You should have told them that you had a rechargeable car!I worked outside for two of our coldest winters in the mid 90's. In the first one, we had to plug in our trucks every single day. This is usual fare, but even then, some of these brand new trucks wouldn't start. It was brutally cold. We always get weather like that, but it was just so long that winter. I'd rather live somewhere warmer, but I'll actually be making a lateral move to a city with similar weather.
More power to ya! I have lived in central NJ for most of my life (lived in Florida for 5 years) and I can't wait to get out!! In fact, you can have my place!Originally Posted by milopixie
This may sound weird, but I actually love living in Jersey, except for ya know the extremely high price of living around here!! I love how crowded it is, the fact that I can get awesome bagels all the time, & that it's close to NYC but not actually the city. Ideally I'd like to move back down to Central Jersey, but I'll be staying in North Jersey for a while.
Oh, man. That's another thing. Chicago-style pizza is so good that I'm known to go freegan for it on occassion. I spent a month in Muncie, IN this summer, which was completely nice except for one thing...I don't know how they find that pizza even remotely acceptableOriginally Posted by GratefulBear629
Although, I must admit I don't know if I can survive without the pizza.
