Yep! That is usually what is referred to as "dropping". The kittens go lower into the birthing canal and it makes the cat look smaller! Could be another day or two!
Oh great thank you!

Hi everyone! So here is a picture I just took of her from the front and back when she was sitting in the same position. It looks like one side is bigger than the other. Also, it looks like she’s leaning on that side. Is that normal? Maybe she is a bit uncomfortable? Maybe I’m just going crazy hahhahhaha

So it’s been 4 hours since the last picture I posted and now her other side looks bigger!? Can kittens move from one side of the belly to the other?

So today she has been licking herself a lot. Mostly her stomach area. She’s been drinking lots of water. She has also gotten a little more vocal. Hopefully the babies are coming soon

The babies definitely can move from side to side! They are active little guys!

Hi, so I’m feeling lots of movement today. I just felt a lump in her stomach and it moved lol. I also hear a lot of noises coming from her stomach. Are all the noises coming from her stomach the kittens moving? I think the babies will come within a week or so!

I can also feel small pops or bubbles on the bottom of her stomach.

What kind of noises? It could just be gas! Is this the first movement you have felt? Could be another 2-3 weeks!

Kinda sounds like swishing noises. Yeah it may just be gas. I felt movement like a week ago but it wasn’t much!

Hi everyone! So I went to the vet yesterday and she said that she will have around 3-4 kittens! That was pretty much the only info she gave me. Right now she is attacking her tail like crazy! I have never heard her hiss or scream so loud. Should I be concerned? Is this a sign that she may be close to labor? She is going crazy with her tail and it scares me lol!

Yup! So today, I feel her back nipples sagging. I have also seen and felt a lot of movement these past few days. She is eating well and drinking lots of water!

Hi! So I was just petting her and saw this!! She licked it away after a couple seconds. Is this the mucus plug? Will she give birth soon? Her belly is pretty swollen!

It appears to be pre-labor vaginal discharge, which is normal. Be patient and keep us posted!

Ok, thank you!! Just noticed some lightish colored liquid on my bed. It was a light amber color.
