Peonies are my favorite, especially the pink and salmon color ones. I actually don't have any in my yard but there is a retired couple who live two doors down from me that are really into gardening and spend most of their time working in their yard. They have several different color of peonies in their gardens which are just gorgous. I also like lilies, and pansy's especially the purple and yellow ones.

I love peonies...they are the true sign that summer is here. I love the hychintheas (sp?), the yellow bushes that bloom first in march (first sign of spring), and lilacs but usually the blossoms get killed with one more frost. My favorite is lilies. I LOVE any kind, but am partial to tigerlilies and stargazerlilies. We're just starting to landscape our yard and I already have a variety of bulbs for a lily garden to put around the old tree we demanded had to stay when the land was cleared. I can't wait!
