For the freezer: Hungarian goulash, chili con (or sin) carne or simply a sauce bolognese.
Sounds a good idea! I may still have a big pot somewhere - last used 25 years ago for my 50th birthday party - I think my daughters made chili con carne and we did freeze quite a lot.
chili or some chanko nabe stew (sumo stew) i just learned how to cook that not much for soups,stews for a meal without any solid foods but that one makes for a solid meal to fill your belly
