My mom had a pot like that, in white, for stuffed cabbage, and soups!!!

For the freezer: Hungarian goulash, chili con (or sin) carne or simply a sauce bolognese.
Sounds a good idea! I may still have a big pot somewhere - last used 25 years ago for my 50th birthday party - I think my daughters made chili con carne and we did freeze quite a lot.

chili or some chanko nabe stew (sumo stew) i just learned how to cook that not much for soups,stews for a meal without any solid foods but that one makes for a solid meal to fill your belly

My mom used to have a big pot like that. She used it for water bath canning.

Pretty big pot, but I might make lima beans and ham. I cook the beans all day until they're pretty much mush.

I have a pot that big only it's stainless with a heavy bottom.I use it when I make my big batches of chicken or turkey stock.

Probably a soup. One of my faves is Creamy Potato Leek Soup. So I could see my self cooking that.
