For the freezer: Hungarian goulash, chili con (or sin) carne or simply a sauce bolognese.
Sounds a good idea! I may still have a big pot somewhere - last used 25 years ago for my 50th birthday party - I think my daughters made chili con carne and we did freeze quite a lot.

Probably a soup. One of my faves is Creamy Potato Leek Soup. So I could see my self cooking that. 🙂
