Homemade chicken tenders fried in peanut oil, with homemade blue cheese dip, brocoli and cauliflower, coffee and choc covered macadamia nuts.

OHHH they look yummy. Are they similar to leeks? [Well of course since they are in the onion family too] I love all things onion!

Well, our cafeteria let me down for the first time. I've left more than half my plate of pork cutlets (dry, tough) and spuds (so half-cooked that they skid under a knife). I know better than to get veg at lunch time, because nobody cooks veg to my satisfaction, and I get lots at home -- the broccoli LOOKED good, but would have been tasteless.

Oh, well, I guess it'll keep the wolf away from the door for a few hours... mumblegrumblemumblegrumbleharrumphmumblegrumble

Actually the Hunter sauce was pleasant.

I just had a Jacob's fig roll
We are trying to ration them because we can't get them over here (I bought them when I was in London last week)
