Maybe for you. I've only met her once. Good luck with that though!

Ryan & Susan...it's Fall not Spring. What's going on?
Love is in the air on 2 different continents?

Details...we want details.

You two made me smile today.

Uh oh...
don't you know not to encourage Susan or me?
Let's see... I was at an appointment to donate blood in the afternoon and this nice looking girl walks in a few minutes after me. We exchanged a few words trailing off from a conversation between two people sitting beside her. Then a few more while we sat, before getting placed to get the actual donation done. I was done first and strategically took a bit longer in the waiting area savoring my donut and drink with plans to invite her to sit down with me. When she got there, I was about to open my mouth when she said that she was coming to sit with me!
We had a good conversation. She's 29, works in home care, used to be a swimmer, has nice blue eyes and a great smile. I did my best not to focus below the neck, where the attention would have been well deserved.
I forgot to ask her name though.
I might run into her again. She's been donating since she was 17. I don't know if she's actually single or not though.

Just a little more hijack...

I do have a concern that I need to share with you Ryan.
If you start hanging out at the blood donation place, hoping that you might see this lovely girl again, you won't have much blood left & you'll get fat from eating donuts. Then what will you do?

OK...I'm done. End Hijack for sure. I'll be good now.

-but appointments have to be a minimum of two weeks apart, and they only give you one donut!
I should be able to stay fit for a while yet.

No that's a lie, I've achieved a lot today in the way of getting on top of the housework. I've got all weekend to myself

I did a massage on a lady that was from New Orleans, and was here in Jacksonville working when Katrina hit. We were talking after her massage, and she got a phone call telling her that her house was not only still standing, but had sustanied very little damage. She was soooo happy. She was a really nice lady, and I was happy for her.
Can you imagine all that time not knowing if you had a home to go back to?

I shooed the bully seal point off my back deck and found Itty Bitty Blue hiding under my garden potting cart - you could just see his little face and lovely blue eyes peeping out at me then sweeping across the deck as he looked to see if the bully was gone.

I put food in the bowl I now keep out on the deck, and as he came running, he not only let me pet him, he moofed his head onto my hand after I skritched him just under his ear.

I think he's not used to affection, but he is affectionate. He made me smile.
