What I made for dinner tonight!

Last night was pizza. Tonight is pork and veggie stirfry on Jasmine rice. I told Rob it was that or smokies with fried up garlic mash and salad -- and whichever we don't have tonight, we have tomorrow. He didn't think smokies was a Sunday meal. Fine by me.

I made parmesan chicken with noodles

I attempted a recipe a friend suggested with herb and garlic marinated chicken breast, diced tomato and mozzarella melted on top over pasta. I didn't have the exact marinade so I improvised. Not so hot. I might make it once more with the exact ingredients to see if it tastes better - it had too much of something and not enough of something else.

I am not a good enough cook yet to improvise - even something simple like that.

I made chili last night.. One of BF's faves...I don't looooovvve chili so I make it a bit differently...I used a few different kinds of beans (northern, kidney and chickpea, etc..) and put in zucchini and small whole mushrooms and jalapenos and don't make it too thick....It's awesome! Tonight BF will likely have that and I will just have a leftover chicken breast and some rice...

I really have to go grocery shopping this week!

I made eggplant parmesan...and it actually turned out really well!
I hated all the dishes it left me to clean up though :/

Susie i have a question.
My mother boils the whole chicken before putting it in the oven because "it prevents cancer" but to me it just tastes horrible!
Do you do this too??

It's ok, i'm by myself tonight too! I still have yet to figure out dinner!

At the moment i'm deciding between Toasted Cheese Ravaoli with Basil Maranaria Sauce or a sandwitch with mac & cheese and fruit
